CHARLIE CARVETTE EQUESTRIAN:
Dad!
Malcolm ran to his son and hugged him.
MALCOLM EQUESTRIAN:
I thought I lost you, boy.
CHARLIE CARVETTE EQUESTRIAN:
I'm okay. And I've got your message.
Malcolm took a good look at his son.
MALCOLM EQUESTRIAN:
What happened to you?
CHARLIE CARVETTE EQUESTRIAN:
I transformed into a humacorn, Dad.
Malcolm smiled.
MALCOLM EQUESTRIAN:
So, all of my ancient brother's stories are true and my son became a humacorn.
CHARLIE CARVETTE EQUESTRIAN:
There's one thing about him you don't know. When me and Sunny found out more about my grandfather, he is Sunny's dad and she's, my cousin.
Malcolm looked at Sunny Starscout, while Charlie introduced her to him.
CHARLIE CARVETTE EQUESTRIAN:
Sunny, this is my dad, Malcolm Equestrian.
SUNNY STARSCOUT:
My uncle?
Sunny Starscout looked delighted to see her uncle.
SUNNY STARSCOUT (Excited):
Uncle Malcolm!
Sunny Starscout ran to her uncle and hugged him. Malcolm hugged Sunny Starscout back, while Tempest Shadow and the others looked surprised when they saw Princess Celestia and Princess Luna.
TEMPEST SHADOW:
Celestia? Luna?
CAPTAIN CELEANO:
You're alive?
GRUBBER:
But that's impossible! Charlie told us the Storm Queen destroyed you!
Princess Celestia smiled.
PRINCESS CELESTIA:
I promise I'll tell you everything later. Now, I must inform everypony.
Princess Celestia gave a speech to all the ponies.
PRINCESS CELESTIA:
Citizens of Maretime Bay. I, Princess Celestia must warn you that the Storm Queen knows that all of you have united together and the magic of friendship is back. And she intends to destroy you all.
All the ponies started to panic until Princess Celestia calmed them down.
PRINCESS CELESTIA:
But don't worry! My sister, Princess Luna and I will make sure that never happens. Watch.
Princess Celestia and Princess Luna placed their horns together and released a big magic ball of pink light into air. Then it formed into a pink bubble shield that surrounded the entire town and Sunny Starscout's lighthouse.
PRINCESS LUNA:
This shield will protect you. No storm creature can get in or out.
PRINCESS CELESTIA:
You leave can whenever you like, but we must strongly advise you not to, until further notice. There are three rules we must give you and you must try to obey them, so you can be protected.
PRINCESS LUNA:
The rules are: Stay safe. Be brave and work together as friends.
All the ponies agreed with the princesses and they cheered for them. Charlie and Sunny Starscout walked up to Princess Celestia and Princess Luna.
CHARLIE CARVETTE EQUESTRIAN:
Looks like you two are out of retirement.
PRINCESS CELESTIA:
I'm afraid so, Charlie. Just until we find Twilight and her friends.
SUNNY STARSCOUT:
So, now what?
PRINCESS CELESTIA:
Let's settle down before we do anything else.
Location: The Storm Queen's Realm
Area: The Throne Room
The Storm Queen was furious at Darklight Storm.
THE STORM QUEEN:
That alicorn is the daughter of the humacorn and she is that human's cousin?!
Darklight Storm looked frighted.
DARKLIGHT STORM:
It was a shock for me too, Your Highness. But the human is now a humacorn.
THE STORM QUEEN:
What really upsets me is that the princesses are alive!
The Storm Queen calmed herself down.
THE STORM QUEEN:
It's obvious that Carvette had something to do of bringing them back from the dead. But I cannot let his grandson and his alicorn cousin reach my territory!
The Storm Queen was thinking, then she had an idea.
THE STORM QUEEN:
Darklight, I want you to contact Chrysalis. She is about to become the new queen of Zephyr Heights.
Darklight Storm smiled, evilly.
DARKLIGHT STORM:
Yes, Your Highness. But what about the young humacorn?
THE STORM QUEEN:
I'll send my storm creatures to stop him, but if they fail, Chrysalis will take everything he loved.
The Storm Queen laughed, evilly.
Location: Crystal BrightHouse
Area: Living Room
Charlie and all of his friends were having tea with Princess Celestia and Princess Luna.
HITCH TRAILBLAZER:
So, Charlie's ancient grandfather made a resurrection potion called Pheonix and gave it to you?
PRINCESS CELESTIA:
Yes.
HITCH TRAILBLAZER:
And you can only be resurrected if an Equestrian calls out your names.
PRINCESS LUNA:
Yes.
IZZY MOONBOW:
Then you went to Charlie's world after Twilight Sparkle became Princess of Equestria and you never realized you travelled a thousand years to the future until yesterday?
PRINCESS CELESTIA:
That's right, Izzy.
SUNNY STARSCOUT:
Then my dad went back to his world and watched over Charlie for ten years and he wrote letters to you to see if he's okay.
PRINCESS LUNA:
Absolutely.
IZZY MOONBOW:
And you found out our world in Charlie's world was just a T.V series and a movie?
PRINCESS CELESTIA:
Yes, but our adventures did happen before they were on T.V.
Izzy Moonbow looked surprised.
IZZY MOONBOW:
Ooh! I need to watch that!
PRINCESS LUNA:
We understood Charlie very well when he knew all about Equestria, but his mother was about to put him in a care home in America until Celestia and I put him under our care.
Everyone except Malcolm looked shocked.
PRINCESS SKYSTAR:
A Care Home? Why would she do that?
Charlie looked worried, while everyone was looking at him.
MALCOLM EQUESTRIAN:
Son, you should tell them. I think this is the right moment.
Charlie took a deep breath and exhaled.
CHARLIE CARVETTE EQUESTRIAN:
It's because of my autism.
EVERYONE (Unison):
Autism?
Grubber looked confused.
GRUBBER:
What's autism?
Charlie explained to everyone what autism is.
CHARLIE CARVETTE EQUESTRIAN:
It's a developmental disorder of variable severity that is characterized by difficulty in social interaction and communication and by restricted or repetitive patterns of thought and behaviour.
IZZY MOONBOW:
Oh. So, that's what it is.
CHARLIE CARVETTE EQUESTRIAN:
I wasn't cursed or being put under a spell. I was born this way. I find it hard to live with it. I find it hard to talk to someone and I find it hard to move forward. My dad understood my autism and he knew how to deal with it. As for Celestia and Luna, they know how to make me happy in the way I wanted. My mum didn't want to know how to deal with my autism because she is the mayor of Equestrian Island and all she cares about is running the island. She did say to me she loves me but I just don't feel it. I have explained everything about my problems, my feelings, my dreams and why I can't help with my behaviour. She understands my words, but she never understood my reasons. It feels like she doesn't love me behaving like a child.
Charlie looked sad, while Princess Skystar was touched by his story. Princess Skystar hugged Charlie, while she was crying.
PRINCESS SKYSTAR (Crying):
Oh, Charlie! I understand how you feel!
Everyone felt sorry for Charlie.
TEMPEST SHADOW:
Oh, dear.
CAPTAIN CELAENO:
I'm so sorry, Charlie.
CAPPER:
Yeah, if your mum is the mayor, she should focus on your behaviour before her work.
PRINCESS SKYSTAR (Crying):
If you want to be a child, Charlie! She should let you!
Charlie calmed Princess Skystar down and dried her tears.
CHARLIE CARVETTE EQUESTRIAN:
It's okay. It's not just my behaviour that bothers me, it's just I've been grown attached to my Mum's house where I can keep my dreams to myself and share it to my family and friends who understood me more.
Princess Celestia and Princess Luna smiled.
CHARLIE CARVETTE EQUESTRIAN:
But I felt trapped and alone. And I never wanted to leave until I find a place where I can be myself, share my dreams, make friends that I know who can help with my behaviour and autism, and meet six ponies who helped everypony believe friendship is magic. And that place is Equestria because it always makes me feel like home.
Everyone was touched by Charlie's words, but Sunny Starscout was confused.
SUNNY STARSCOUT:
Charlie, that isn't a good reason when you're in your world feeling trapped and alone.
Charlie looked sad and put his head down, then Sunny Starscout looked happy.
SUNNY STARSCOUT:
But when you came to Equestria, that's a very good reason.
Charlie raised his head and looked surprised.
CHARLIE CARVETTE EQUESTRIAN:
What?
SUNNY STARSCOUT:
And we believe you.
Charlie smiled when he saw everyone believed in Charlie's reason.
CHARLIE CARVETTE EQUESTRIAN:
So, you guys believe me? No one has ever said that to me. Except my dad, Celestia and Luna.
CAPTAIN CELAENO:
We understand your reason, Charlie. When we worked with the Storm Queen...
CAPPER:
And I worked with Verko.
TEMPEST SHADOW:
We felt trapped and alone as well.
GRUBBER:
Me too. But I also felt hungry. Still.
Tempest Shadow placed her hoof on Charlie's shoulder.
TEMPEST SHADOW:
We'll help you get through this. I promise.
CHARLIE CARVETTE EQUESTRIAN:
You guys can really help me?
TEMPEST SHADOW:
Yes. That's what friends do. They help each other.
CAPTAIN CELAENO:
Even though we've only met yesterday, you knew about us from the beginning. That's what we like about you.
SUNNY STARSCOUT:
You took a lot of courage to express your feelings to us.
IZZY MOONBOW:
And you were very calm.
CHARLIE CARVETTE EQUESTRIAN:
It's easy to stay calm when I'm with you guys, not with my Mum. But I don't know if I can stay in Equestria.
PRINCESS LUNA:
You can. After we restore ancient Equestria, everypony and bring back the Guardians of Harmony.
SUNNY STARSCOUT:
But in order to do that is to find six Spirits of Harmony.
Hitch Trailblazer agreed with Sunny Starscout.
HITCH TRAILBLAZER:
Sunny's right. If we find the six spirits, they won't just restore ancient Equestria. They'll destroy the Storm Queen and the storm creatures.
CHARLIE CARVETTE EQUESTRIAN:
Yes. Because everypony knows that friendship and harmony can defeat evil.
Charlie turned to Princess Celestia.
CHARLIE CARVETTE EQUESTRIAN:
Celestia, I need to ask you a question.
PRINCESS CELESTIA:
What is it?
CHARLIE CARVETTE EQUESTRIAN:
Why do I know how to dance and sing like Michael Jackson? I mean it happened after I've touched the humacorn crystal!
Princess Celestia and Princess Luna looked at each other and smiled.
PRINCESS LUNA:
Sister, I think you should tell him.
Princess Celestia turned to Charlie.
PRINCESS CELESTIA:
Charlie, when you touched the crystal, you've obtained the first power of the humacorn. We called it, the Human Harmony.
Izzy Moonbow looked confused.
IZZY MOONBOW:
Human Harmony? What does it do?
PRINCESS CELESTIA:
Human Harmony gives a human an ability to do any form of dance and have a perfect singing voice.
GRUBBER:
Does it work on any human?
PRINCESS CELESTIA:
Maybe. But what we know so far, it only works with an Equestrian and Charlie's grandfather is the first.
IZZY MOONBOW:
Wait a minute, Your Highness. When I played the music on Charlie's phone, he started to dance and sing.
PRINCESS LUNA:
Yes. That happened when he was human. But now he's a humacorn, he can dance and sing at his own free will.
CHARLIE CARVETTE EQUESTRIAN:
So, that's how I can do the moonwalk.
PRINCESS SKYSTAR:
Moonwalk? Is that a dance move?
CHARLIE CARVETTE EQUESTRIAN:
Yeah. But it's Michael Jackson's signature dance move.
Princess Skystar looked excited.
PRINCESS SKYSTAR (Excited):
Oh, Charlie! You must show me that move! Please, please, please, please, please!
Charlie smiled at Princess Skystar.
CHARLIE CARVETTE EQUESTRIAN:
Okay, okay. I'll show you.
Charlie got up from the sofa and showed everyone the moonwalk. Grubber looked surprised.
GRUBBER:
It's like he moving forwards, but backwards.
Charlie did the crotch grab, side slide, the MJ spin and the toe stand. Everyone including Princess Skystar was dazzled with Charlie's dance moves and applauded him. Charlie took a bow and sat down.
CHARLIE CARVETTE EQUESTRIAN:
Thank you! Thank you!
PRINCESS SKYSTAR:
Charlie, that was amazing!
CAPTIAN CELAENO:
Your moves are awesome!
CAPPER:
You're cool as a cat! Like me.
MALCOLM EQUESTRIAN:
It's looks like you're becoming Michael Jackson's living legacy, Charlie boy.
Charlie turned to his dad, while Sunny Starscout looked confused.
SUNNY STARSCOUT:
Uncle Malcolm. Why did you call him, Charlie boy?
MALCOLM EQUESTRIAN:
I always call him that. Charlie is a boy. Charlie boy.
CHARLIE CARVETTE EQUESTRIAN:
Just Charlie, Dad. I don't know why you keep calling me Charlie boy.
MALCOLM EQUESTRIAN:
Because my friend, Martha calls you that.
CAPPER:
Wait. Your dad calls you Charlie boy after his girlfriend?
Capper laughed, while Charlie rolled his eyes.
CHARLIE CARVETTE EQUESTRIAN:
Martha is just a friend, Capper. And she's got the same sense of humour as my dad.
Sunny Starscout got up from the sofa.
SUNNY STARSCOUT:
Well, everypony. Before we go to ancient Equestria, we must head to Zephyr Heights and let Pipp and Zipp know about the Storm Queen and the Spirits of Harmony.
IZZY MOONBOW:
And the humacorns.
SUNNY STARSCOUT:
Thanks, Izzy.
CHARLIE CARVETTE EQUESTRIAN:
No problem, Sunny. We'll get there in no time.
Charlie turned to Captain Celaeno.
CHARLIE CARVETTE EQUESTRIAN:
Captain Celaeno, get your ship ready. We're going to Zephyr Heights.
Captain Celaeno looked worried.
CAPTIAN CELAENO:
That's gonna be a problem, Charlie.
CHARLIE CARVETTE EQUESTRIAN:
Why?
CAPTIAN CELAENO:
Our airship ran out of fuel after we landed on Maretime Bay and it took a lot of damage from the storm tornado.
Capper was thinking and had an idea.
CAPPER:
Wait a minute. There's another airship on top of Canterlogic. We can use their fuel and parts to enhance ours.
CAPTAIN CELAENO:
That's a brilliant idea, Capper. But it'll take a couple of days to do that.
Captain Celaeno turned to Charlie.
CAPTAIN CELAENO:
I'm sorry, Charlie. You gonna have to find another way.
SUNNY STARSCOUT:
What shall we do, Charlie?
Charlie was thinking and sighed.
CHARLIE CARVETTE EQUESTRIAN:
Looks like we're walking to Zephyr Heights.
