In a closed room in the desolate section of a large manor a child with light green hair could be seen meditating on the bed, weights could be seen wrapped around his body.
"Huff" Willow let out a tired breath
' It's already been three weeks since I came to this world, not much has truly happened since then I was taught about the awakening ceremony for the first week then left on my own accord. Primrose has been visiting me every once in a while we would often have exhaustive talks on books or other thing, the only reason I've been able to keep up with her is due to Willow's memory who had nothing to do except close himself in library to keep himself from getting bored. this is still better than james who's been visiting me every day and the main problem is he is doing nothing except helping me, due to him the treatment I have received from the servants and knights have increased my room is thoroughly cleaned and I have even been assigned a personal butler but even after all this I still don't know what his motive is cause if he truly cared for Willow he would've brought him to this manor long ago.'
Even after constantly going over his thoughts and possibility he still couldn't find a proper answer and there was nothing he could do about it as all attempts of probing answers from james have ended in failure.

As Willow drops the weighted jacket he was wearing he gets to look at his slightly lean body covered in sweat. The caused of his sweat is his training for awakening, while it might be called ceremony it's nothing grand in the awakening ceremony all those who planned to awaken are sealed in a close room where with the help of magic circles and mana crystals the quality and quantity of mana is increased and the candidates have to just to get into meditative position and breathe in the mana increasing the quality of their mana allowing awaken with mana. When an unawakened person tries to intake mana in a large amount, the pressure on his/her body increases and they often feel like their body is being crushed, hence Willow's been given this weight jacket to practice with.
After a relaxing warm shower Willow dries himself with the towel and continue thinking about the awakening ceremony and mana core. 'In Terra the mana awakeners will have to form a core in their body after they awaken with mana. This core is nothing but turning the pure mana they have awaken into mana of the element they have affinity to compressed in a spherical shape near their heart, this is a lengthy process which requires to be done various times till the mana core has thoroughly taken a sphere shape. When this process is just done a the 'mage' feels a sudden tightness in their chest which is soon followed by a liberating feeling across the body as their body changes, adapting to the new core and their blood starts possessing features of the element they have formed the core of, this blood is often used in alchemy and is also available in monters and beast.
The mage can further improve the quality of their core and blood by absorbing atmospheric mana and mana from mana crystals and mana cores from beast/monsters then converting it into the element of their core and directing to it when enough elemental mana is supplied the core goes through and evolution while there is only slight increased in it's size the quantity and quality of mana increases by 1.5 to 2.0 times this process is mostly called 'ascending'.
the mana core a person can form can not only be of their elemental affinity but also of some derivatives of it. E.G- a person with water affinity can form a core of ice/mist affinity.
Uncommonly there are people who have elemental affinity with two elements these people can either form a core of a single element or a mix of that element. E.G- a person with affinity for fire and earth can either form a fire or earth core or form a mixture of them such as lava or metal core( people with mix element core can still use the base element).
In extremely rare case when a person awaken with two affinity which are incompatible to each other they can only choose one of them.
Any attempt on creating a Core with two incompatible elements have always failed.
A mage can only have a single mana core at a time, people who attempted to form two mana core have mostly failed and the few who succeeded in forming two mana cores later on died due to mana reactions cause by presence of two core and organ failure due to the body having more mana than it can contain.'
while researching about mana cores Willow came across mention of Magic God's crest which increases body's capacity to contain mana but also the mana quality of core and control over it. According to some theories it is possible for mages blessed by god's of magic to contain two cores in their body but it hasn't been proven yet due to magic gods blessing extremely few people throughout history.
*knock**knock*
As Willow continues to think about mana and it's counterpart, he is distracted by a knocking sound of the door
" come in" Willow says in an amicable tone after which his newly assigned personal servant 'Vin' comes in, Willow flashes him an innocent smile to which Vin replies" young master Willow, people from the magus tower will arrive within few minutes the countess wants you and third young master james to go and greet them" Willow replies with a nod and asks Vin to guide him.
As they were walking towards the entrance Willow is joined by James who greets him with a passion and talks about various things to which Willow only nods, as they reach the entrance a large blue vehicle which looks like the first cabin and driving cabin of a bullet train join together stops at the entrance from the mana vehicle 4 four figures covered in blue coat with white lining come out one wearing a blue badge with pattern of a wand and quill while other wearing a green badge with same pattern
