After coming home the first thing that they did was pack all their stuff and after that, they made a call to their respective parents to comfort as well as reassure them that they do not need to worry and they will be able to reach home without any worries.
As the night rose, both the friends bid each other goodbye and went to their respective rooms.
As Ayush was trying to sleep all the things that had happened to him in the few days were coming back to his mind and preventing him from getting any sleep.
'First the blood, then the weird smell and taste, and now even an asteroid. Is everything going to be alright?'
Of course, he couldn't share these thoughts with anybody as he would be too embarrassed to talk about it.
---
In the morning Ayush, surprisingly was the first person to wake up in the entire apartment and was feeling strangely refreshed. It left Ayush in a strange mood as generally, he needed to be woken up by Prakash.
After waking up, Ayush like any young person shaped in the post-internet age first picked up his mobile and spent a considerable amount of time in it. And it was only after Prakash knocked on his door to wake him up did he left his bed.
---
"Remember to go to your bus half an hour in advance, it is not going to wait for you," Said Prakash as he was doing some final checks on his belongings as he had to catch the bus out of town. He has got the but going in the morning. Incidentally, Ayush has a bus time of 5:00 p.m.
"Yeah, Yeah. I know I will not be late" replied Ayush as he was brushing his teeth.
Apparently, apart from waking Ayush up, Prakash has also come to say his goodbye before they meet in Jaipur.
"Don't just ignore what I am saying. Your bus is the last one that is going out of here. After you only the teachers and staff will go. Do you know how much trouble it would be if you did not get on the bus on time? Your parents will be a hassle in itself to deal with."
"Come on, I will be on time. And even if I missed the bus, it's not like it's the only way to get out of the city. I can just ask someone for help if I cannot get to the bus on time." replied Ayush which resulted in Prakash just glaring at him.
After some intent glaring from Prakash. "Fiinnne, I will be there on time."
Prakash sighed, "It's not just about being on time, you have to be 30 minutes ahead before the bus starts otherwise you will definitely get there late. And who are you kidding if you did not get the bus the only thing you will do is call your parents or friend for help instead of figuring something out by yourself."
Ayush spat the toothpaste, "Come on I am not that bad I can figure something out by myself"After saying this ayush started to rinse the paste from his mouth.
"Yes, you are that bad."After checking the time "Okay so it looks like I should go, please try to be on time and call me when you reach Jaipur so we can just catch a train and go home." said Prakash as he picked up his luggage and went out.

After some time Ayush comes out of the bathroom and goes outside to eat something.
'Maybe I should also buy something to eat on the way' wonders Ayush as he goes about to eat something for breakfast. As he was going further and further, he came across open sewage and somehow the smell was almost unbearable. He goes around that road at regular intervals but never has he ever felt such a repulsive smell from the area.
'Ugh'
Most of the shops were closed and the few that were open were just general stores that sold some snacks so in the end ayush decided to buy some instant noodles. As he buys the noodles and some snacks he decides to rapidly go out from there as the smell is becoming somewhat too strong for him.
Just as he was coming out of the shop a car zoomed past him barely missing hitting him and sending him stumbling backward.
"hey!! watch where you are going!" mumbled Ayush but the car was already past him before he could do anything.
"Whoa the kid barely saved himself," heard Ayush which kind of surprised him as he was standing alone with no one near him. In fact, the only other person apart from him who was there was the shopkeeper who was inside the shop and upon closer look he found that he was looking towards him.
"Don't tell me now I am even beginning to hear stuff" slumped Ayush as he went back to his house.
After eating some instant noodles Ayush finally heaved a sigh "The flavors seemed kind of off today, I really should learn properly how to make this stuff."
As he had already packed all the stuff that he may require on the journey, now all he needed to do was to wait a few hours until the time for boarding the bus came.
'The bus will go on at 5 pm so I should be there by 4:50, so I think I should get out by 4:30' and against the judgment of Prakash decided to go to the bus not 30 minutes ahead but just in the nick of time to catch it before it leaves.
So he puts earphones on and starts to listen to some song while lying down on the bed. AndĀ fell asleep.
