"I am not quite sure what you are talking about, sir."
The butler quickly recovered and asked Finn, whose eyebrows kept twitching.
'HAHAHAHA! You are so dumb! Did you think the butler had a crush on you or what?! I- I can't- this is too funny! HAHAHAHA!'
At that moment, Finn realized that having Loki inside his head would mean that he would share with him all the embarrassing things he would do, and he tried his absolute best to calm down with deep breaths.
"…That was a joke. Why were you looking for me?"
Finn quickly changed the topic of the conversation and tried to act like it didn't happen.
"I see. I'm sorry I didn't understand it. I was asked by master to find you and bring you to the office because he thought that you might get lost."
The butler was still unconvinced but he let it slide and explained why he was looking for Finn.
"Thank you. Lead the way, please."
'How thoughtful!'
Having a small tear appear in his eye, Finn felt like Jonathan was an angel, but his happy mood was immediately interrupted by Loki's comment.
'Look how nice he is to someone who tried to bang his wife.'
'I didn't try to bang her! She was the one who- Anyway! That doesn't matter anymore since I already talked to her, and we both came to the conclusion that she should give up on me!'
Finn was happy with how everything ended in Estelle's room, but he didn't know why Loki kept snickering to himself.
Since he was finally on his way to the office, he couldn't care enough to ask and just ignored him.
Entering the elevator with the butler, Finn arrived at the fourth floor.
"The fourth floor only has the master's office and a meeting room."
The butler described the floor while walking towards a wooden double door.
'An entire floor for an office? Is this some sort of joke that I am too poor to understand?'
Finn narrowed his eyes while shaking his head.
The corridor had milky-white walls and a sky-blue carpet. It was a much shorter corridor than on the other floors, and it only had three doors.
There were multiple statues with nameplates under them and pictures depicting some people that Finn didn't know.
The butler noticed Finn's interest in them and introduced them to him.
"These are the master's ancestors that he has here so that he is reminded of his family's greatness."
"I see…"
They then continued walking and soon arrived in front of a double door.
The butler knocked lightly, and when he heard that he could come in, he opened the door for Finn to enter.
Finn entered, and saw a huge desk where Jonathan was sitting, and behind him was a huge window that showed breathtaking scenery.
The office also had six other desks that were probably for his secretaries, but there was nobody sitting there.
It also had its own bar, kitchen, bathroom, and other things that made it look a lot more comfortable than other offices Finn had seen in his previous life.
"You are finally here, Finn! I hope you didn't get lost!"
Jonathan stood up and gestured for Finn to sit on a sofa. So he did, and Jonathan sat across from him.
"I almost did, but the butler had helped me find you."
"I am happy to hear that."
Jonathan smiled, and the butler simply bowed because he was just doing his job.
"Anyway, you said that you wanted to talk about something, right?"
Placing his elbow on the armrest of the sofa, Jonathan looked at Finn in intrigue because he wanted to know what Finn needed.
"Yes. You said that you wanted to return the favor after I saved your daughter, so I have a request. Oh, but if it's too much, you can just say so."
"Nonsense! You saved my daughter from those bastards that I have already disposed of, and if you didn't, she might have even lost her life, so you can ask for anything."
Finn saw Jonathan's gentle smile and how easily he talked about "disposing of someone," but he decided to ignore it and explain his father's situation.
Jonathan listened and kept nodding or saying, "I see."
After Finn was done explaining, he asked if there was a way for Jonathan to help his father.
"Klaus."
Jonathan called the butler, and as if already expecting to be called, the butler started talking.
"Yes master. They are part of the Spanish gang called Serpiente Venenosa. We know about their activities, but since they have never damaged our companies, we decided to let them be. If you give me the order, I will make sure that they disappear from this planet's surface by tomorrow morning."
The butler didn't even flinch, but Finn was surprised to hear that the person behind the scheme was actually a gang member, as he had previously thought.
"The moment they decided to enslave my benefactors father, their lives were already over. Klaus, take care of them."
Jonathan calmly ordered his butler to kill people with a cold voice, as if he was already used to discarding people he didn't like.
"Understood."
The butler Klaus pulled out a phone from his pocket, and after ordering someone on it for a minute, he ended the call and turned to Jonathan again.
"It is done, master."
"Good. Also, make sure that Finn's father won't be met with misfortune again."
"I have already taken care of that master. He will be offered multiple new positions with excellent pay, and we have also assigned some bodyguards to guard Sir Finn's house in case somebody tries to take revenge by attacking the former employees."
"Well done."
Nodding, Jonathan was satisfied with the outcome but Finn on the other hand was flabbergasted.
'That's it? Just like that?'
Finn's eyes were wide open, and his face showed a bewildered expression.
He thought that Jonathan would be somewhat powerful if he were this rich, but he didn't know that he could end an entire gang with a single phone call.
"Do you need help with anything else, Finn?"
Jonathan then turned to look at Finn with a gentle smile, as if he had just not ended the lives of multiple gang members with only a few words.
"No, that is all. Thank you very much."
If what he heard from Klaus was true, then it meant that Finn's father would not only get his freedom back but would also get a much better job, so he tried to bow his head while thanking Jonathan.
But Jonathan stood up and grabbed Finn's shoulders to stop him from bowing.
"No need for that. My son-in-law shouldn't bow his head to anyone."
At that moment, Finn's body slightly shook, and he froze up.
"W- What might you mean, sir?"
Slowly raising his head, Finn saw how Jonathan was looking at him with a warm smile and cold eyes.
"Hmmm? You know that this is my house, and all the maids are my employees, so I know what you were doing while I was here in my office, right?"
When Finn heard this, he clenched his teeth in fear.
Confessing to Sofie wasn't that big of a deal because he planned to talk to Jonathan once their relationship progressed enough and they decided to get married.
Him rejecting Nina and making her cry was pretty bad, but there were ways to talk himself out of it, but Estelle…
There was not much he could do, and from the maid's perspective, it probably looked like Finn had a quickie with her in her room, so he was scared of Jonathan's reaction.
If it was that easy to destroy an entire gang, then making Finn and his family disappear wouldn't even take a second.
Finn kept trying to think of ways to explain himself, but no ideas came to mind.
"I know that you have started dating Sophie and that you have rejected Nina. Although I kind of want to beat you up for making my daughter cry, I would have killed you if you had decided to date them both at the same time."
Jonathan kept smiling at him, but from the strong grip Finn could feel on his shoulder, he knew that Jonathan must be pretty pissed off.
'Wait, what about Estelle then?'
But so far, Jonathan hasn't said a thing about Estelle, so Finn decided not to mention it.
"Yes sir. I love your daughter, and that's why I decided to start a relationship with her. I might not be rich, but I hope you will allow it."
Instead of backing down, Finn decided to confront Jonathan head on.
"HAHAHA! Good, good! I tried pressuring you to see if you would back down, but it seems that you are dead set on dating Sophie, so I will allow it."
Jonathan laughed as he kept slapping Finn's shoulder with his hand.
Suddenly, he stopped laughing and looked into Finn's eyes with a domineering gaze.
"...But if you destroy her trust, I will do everything in my power to make sure that you… Haaaa..."
He looked like he wanted to continue, but Jonathan realized that if he didn't want to destroy the friendly relationship he had built with Finn, it would be best for him not to threaten him.
Jonathan still cared about his daughters, and he knew how Sophie remained cold because she was scared to open up to other people, so now that she put her trust in Finn, he knew that Finn could help her as much as he could also break her if he betrayed her trust.
"I won't, sir. Even if the world gets destroyed and everyone dies, I will make sure she lives the longest. If there is a situation where I will be forced to choose between her life and mine, I will save hers without a moment's hesitation."
Looking at Jonathan with a determined look, Finn would be lying if he said he wasn't a little scared of him, but now that he had finally started dating Sophie, he didn't plan on going down easy.
Jonathan was still a little angry about the fact that Finn had made Nina cry, so he decided to have a drink with him and drink his anger away.
"Alright, I will leave her in your hands then. Klaus, open the most expensive bottle we have here and pour it into two glasses."
"Right away, master."
Klaus quickly opened an alcohol cabinet filled with expensive alcohol bottles and pulled out the bottle Jonathan had asked for.
He then poured it and put the glasses on the table that was between Finn and Jonathan.
Jonathan, who had already gone back to his seat, took his glass and raised it.
"To a beautiful relationship."
Finn also took his glass and clinked it with Jonathan's.
"Cheers!"
