As Yamato summoned forth the "Wood Release: Wood Locking Wall!" to separate their battlefield, Koushin found himself left to face Hidan. The solid wooden barrier blocked out the sounds of Yugito's fiery onslaught and Kisame's aquatic defense, leaving a peculiar calm in its wake. Koushin glanced back at the wall, a smirk tugging at his lips. "Well, at least we'll have some privacy," he quipped, refocusing on Hidan.

The Jashinist stood across from Koushin, scythe at the ready, his eyes gleaming with an unholy fervor. "You're all jokes, huh?" Hidan sneered. "Let's see how funny you'll be when you're dead."

Still wearing his smirk, Koushin's form shimmered, and a cloak of bright chakra enveloped him. With a crackle of electricity, his Lightning Chakra Mode was activated, increasing his speed to lightning-fast levels. He looked at Hidan, a glint of anticipation in his eyes. "Alright, Hidan," he said, "Let's dance."

Hidan lunged at him, his scythe slicing through the air. Koushin easily evaded the strike, sidestepping with a speed that left a brief afterimage. He watched Hidan's surprised expression with amusement. "You might need to be a bit faster than that," Koushin teased.

Frustration crept onto Hidan's features as he launched attack after attack, each one narrowly avoided by Koushin. The latter danced around Hidan with a grace that belied the lethal nature of their battle, his movements fluid and swift, like a leaf carried by the wind.

"You're a slippery one, aren't you?" Hidan spat, his voice laced with annoyance.

Koushin's smirk deepened. "Or maybe you're just too slow," he retorted, ducking under another swing of Hidan's scythe.

With every dodge and witty remark, Hidan's anger grew, his scythe strikes becoming more wild and desperate. Koushin remained unfazed, maintaining his mirthful demeanor. His evasion was precise, calculated, never more than necessary – a humiliating showcase of the difference in their speed.

"Haven't hit your stride yet, Hidan?" Koushin's voice dripped with sarcasm. "I'm starting to think you're not even trying!"

Hidan roared, his rage pouring into a furious onslaught. Yet, his efforts proved fruitless as Koushin continued his dance of evasion.

In a sudden change of pace, Koushin moved from defense to offense. "Enough of this," he said, his tone firm yet lighthearted.

With a swift forward motion, Koushin launched towards Hidan, his lightning chakra cloak trailing behind him. The shift from defense to offense was rapid but deliberate, his eyes reflecting a playful glint.

However, in his onslaught, Koushin "accidentally" left an opening. His right flank was seemingly exposed, a perfect opportunity for Hidan to strike.

With a triumphant grin, Hidan seized the chance, swinging his scythe towards Koushin's side. "Got you!" he exclaimed, his eyes gleaming with wicked satisfaction. He reveled in the sight of Koushin's surprise, eagerly anticipating the imminent tear of flesh, the gush of blood, and the screams of agony.

But instead of the gruesome symphony Hidan expected, there was only the harsh clash of metal against metal. Confusion etched on his face, he glanced down, only to see Koushin's arm transformed. It was pitch black, reflecting a metallic sheen, unscathed by his scythe's vicious attack.

Koushin looked at Hidan, an unabashed grin spread across his face. "Sorry, it was all fake," he said, his tone laced with mirth. "Did you really think I'd let you get me that easily?"

He flexed his hand, the Ebony Skin retaining its solid form. Koushin had spent plenty of time upgrading the Iron Skin perk in Oblivion, and it was paying off now. The skin was nearly as tough as Ebony Armor, impervious to normal weapons like Hidan's scythe. Even though it required considerable chakra, he deemed it worth for a foe like Hidan.

His smile still intact, Koushin quickly moved into action. He rushed towards Hidan with lightning-fast speed, his hand shifting back to normal as he prepared to strike. "You should learn to keep up," he taunted, delivering a swift punch that sent Hidan stumbling back.

Hidan quickly regained his footing, scowling at Koushin. His swings became more desperate, the frustration evident in his movements. Koushin continued to dodge effortlessly, his agility and speed making a mockery of Hidan's attacks.

"You like to torture your opponents with your sick ritual, right?" Koushin grinned at Hidan, his eyes gleaming with the thrill of the fight. "You and your twisted god get off on the suffering of others. Let me show you what real pain is then."

Hidan's face twisted with rage at the insult to his god. "You dare to insult Jashin-sama? You will pay for your blasphemy!"

Ignoring Hidan's anger, Koushin focused his chakra into his fists. "Elemental Blast!" he announced, a surge of electricity wrapping around his right fist, flames enveloping his left, and his knuckles turning as hard as stone, displaying his mastery over the three elements. "Let's see how you like this."

Launching forward with his lightning-infused speed, Koushin struck first with the Lightning Fist. He targeted Hidan's chest, delivering a swift punch that sent a shock of electricity coursing through the Akatsuki member's body. The force of the strike sent Hidan stumbling backward, his body spasming from the unexpected shock.

"You...!" Hidan choked out, but his words were cut short as Koushin delivered a swift, stone-hard punch to his gut with the Earth Fist. The blow knocked the wind out of him, causing him to double over in pain. "You'll pay for this...!"

"And there's more where that came from!" Koushin retorted, his voice filled with mirth.

With that, he struck Hidan with the Fire Punch. The flame-encased fist connected with Hidan's side, causing an inward explosion that blasted the Jashinist off his feet and into the air. Hidan screamed as he crashed onto the ground, his clothes smoking from the burn.

Still, Hidan pushed himself back up, his insane determination stemming from his devotion to his god. "You're... a lot more... interesting than... I thought," he gasped out, glaring at Koushin.

"That's the nicest thing anyone's said to me today," Koushin said, chuckling. He launched himself at Hidan again, landing a series of punches imbued with various elements, keeping the Akatsuki member off balance.

"Having fun yet?" Koushin teased, landing a solid hit with his Earth Fist that made Hidan wince. "I've got to admit, it's more fun than I thought it would be."

"I'll... kill you..." Hidan growled, attempting to retaliate. But Koushin's lightning-infused speed made it difficult for Hidan to land a hit.
