Chapter 4 - Abnormal Gravity

Li Feng closed his eyes, almost suffocating from anger. Whenever he saw a woman, he couldn't move his feet, regardless of their age. No wonder he aspired to be a gossip reporter; he utilized everything. Unfortunately, the young nurse didn't appreciate Mark's words, "Please wait outside. The doctor will be here shortly. Li Feng, do you feel any discomfort?"

"Thank you, I feel very good."

Li Feng smiled, which was true. He had a good night's sleep and not only did he not feel dizzy, he was also full of energy, but he was just very hungry.

"Nurse sister, you are a white angel. Please examine him carefully later and don't miss anything. He is still a virgin and has a long way to go."

Li Feng's face was covered in three black lines. This guy really used any means to find a topic. However, the professional young nurse pushed Mark out unceremoniously. The doctors then conducted a thorough examination of Li Feng, and the results quickly came out.

It was very good, even better than that of a normal person, with only a slightly intense gastrointestinal reaction due to hunger. Therefore, Li Feng could be discharged from the hospital.

Mark was a little regretful about Li Feng's discharge. It would have been better if he continued to stay here as it would give him more opportunities to meet pretty girls. Li Feng was so angry that he wanted to step on Mark, but he let it go in the end since he was treating him to a meal.

But soon, Mark regretted his decision. He looked at the dishes that kept coming like a flowing stream and finally realized how terrifying the appetite of a person who had been sleeping for three days was. His one week's pocket money was already in someone's stomach. He should have taken him to a roadside stall instead. Was this what they called being struck by lightning when pretending to be cultured?

After eating for half an hour, Li Feng finally felt great. He looked at Mark, who had turned black, and showed a brilliant smile. "I'm full of energy now and need some exercise. It feels like I've been lying like a mummy for three years without moving."

Mark looked at his credit card in frustration. "Who knew that a mummy could eat so much? Well, here's the key. You can go by yourself. I need to find a pretty girl to comfort my injured heart."

"Ah, who has bullied you?" Li Feng looked very innocent as he gazed at poor Mark, who had fainted.

Mark's parents were engaged in intercontinental trade and had their own company. Although it was not a monopoly, they were considered prominent in the school. However, they were often not at home, and their spacious and luxurious house had become a place for the two boys. Li Feng was already familiar with the place.

The gravity controller was definitely a high-end configuration that ordinary rich people couldn't afford. Mark thought his parents bought it to help him exercise for joining the military, but his true purpose was to try zero-gravity love-making. Unfortunately, the effect was very unsatisfactory.

It took five minutes for the machine to start up. Li Feng rushed in excitedly. Besides the space war game, this was his favorite place. The space war game was a game developed after humans entered the interstellar aviation era. It could be played by ordinary citizens and the military alike. The player's physical condition would be automatically recorded, and the operation of the mobile suits was also simulated. In other words, to operate them flexibly, the body had to reach a certain standard. This couldn't be improved in the game and required real-world training. Of course, proficiency and skill could be improved, and what could be done in the game could also be accomplished in reality to a certain degree. This was why the military valued this game. Of course, it was still just a game. Although the condition of the body couldn't be changed, the mobile suits could evolve, which was the direction of the future development of mobile suits.

The lowest-level mobile suit was the old model BS001 developed by the Evintar people. It was slow, had a single attack method, weak strength, and was difficult to operate. It was something that the average human body couldn't handle. Neither the Evintar nor the humans who played the space game bothered with this model. Whoever operated this was asking for trouble. It was better to spend a little more money and directly upgrade to the basic mobile suit.

In actual military armaments, this type of mobile suit had been eliminated. It could only be seen occasionally at some mining sites or training bases. That thing was just too tiring to operate, even the Evintar didn't want to use it.

The NUF and USE's current standard mobile suit models were one level higher than the BS001.

NUF had two models, Knight TM and Warcraft TN. The Knight model was a humanoid mobile suit that was upgraded based on the BS001. It was easier to operate, and its reaction time had improved considerably. It was equipped with an alpha alloy sword and a main battle laser gun, and could adapt to various environments. Its disadvantage was that it still couldn't maximize its mobility.

The Warcraft TN was a beast-type mobile suit. It had a design based on a simulated wolf and tiger, which greatly improved its mobility, but its killing power was weakened. Its attack relied mainly on the alloy blade on its forehead and the laser gun in its mouth. It was less stable than the Knight TM.

Of the two USE models, the Kanos III and the Normandy A, the Kanos III accounts for 80% of the human military. To put it frankly, this model is a copy of the knight TM, weighing half a ton lighter than the knight TM and easier to operate, making it more suitable for humans. Although it is slightly more flexible, its lethality is somewhat weaker. However, this model wins on the battlefield through quantity.

The Normandy A is a relatively rare type of fighter aircraft, and the only one among the four basic models with flying ability. It performs well in the air and has sufficient advantages against the Warcraft TN series. However, it is very dangerous when encountering bombers, and its increased capability has caused it to be relatively weak against ground attacks. This model is designed specifically for the Warcraft TN and is also designed as preparation for the development of a true all-weather combat mobile warrior in the future.

These are the models used by ordinary players. Above them, there are many exaggerated models, after all, it is just a game. Of course, whether those models exist in reality is only clear to those in power. NUP and USE must have hidden their true strength, but this does not prevent the popularity of space warfare games.

Li Feng is still the same, entering the gravity room with his bare chest. His body may not be very strong, but you can see the power contained in his muscles. He can now adapt to twice the gravity, which is said to be the standard for mobile warriors. It's a pity that he has to take an exam. God, is there no way to get exempted from the exam?

Li Feng hasn't moved for a long time and feels itchy all over. He rushed in and did a standard military training, of course, arranged by Mark's father. However, Mark had no interest and reserved his opinion on Li Feng's constant exercise. He thought that if he had the energy, he would rather spend it on beauties than waste it on a bunch of iron.

After ten minutes of training, Li Feng felt no response. Normally, he would already be sweating profusely at this time…but today, he didn't even sweat. Is the gravity machine broken?

Li Feng looked at the values and everything was running normally. What's going on?

He gradually increased the gravity to two and a half times, but his body still didn't feel the pressure. Three times…still no response. Is it really broken?

Li Feng found the manual and adjusted it according to the instructions…but there was still no problem!

Damn it, did he have a hallucination after being hit by a meteor?
