When Rio came back to the Heartwell villa, the daylight was slowly creeping in, and people were just waking up from their slumber. He first went to have a talk with Esme, giving her some commands about what to do while he's in the dungeon.
As the hero's home ground, Harendale plays a very important and recurring role in the original novel. That also means it has many named characters and plots stored here. From silly face slapping scenes, to some pick pocketing, or market bullying, or some sea side restaurant with a nice view _ too many places and too many events start here. So to earn more points from his system, Rio just ordered Esme to deal with some of them. Either ruin them, kill them, or finish them early.
