Just as Liam entered the Unit Leader's office, Dean arrived. As he was about to push the doors to the office open, he was stopped by someone.
The other party was someone who Dean knew all too well and his brows came to a furrow.
He was the Vice-Director of Unit 1, Noah Storm. He held the same position as him but for Unit 1. Given the conflicts that occurred between the two units, the relationship between the two wasn't exactly great.
Resting his arms on his knees, he managed to say,
"Haaa... Haaa... You, what are you doing?"
"That's my question."
Noah replied with a frown. His expression was cold.
As Dean slowly caught his breath, his tone grew gloomy.
"Didn't... Haaa... Liam come here?"
He was sure he had turned over here.
Where else would he have gone if not here...?
"He's here."
Dean's heart dropped. Clenching his jaw, he was about to speak when he was suddenly cut off.
