Su had always found ways to avoid bathing with the rest of the boys ever since he joined the Academy. As he grew older, it became apparent that he would never have anyone join him in the bathroom or even come close to where he would be naked. Everyone eventually coined 'Shy Su' for him because he was more protective of his clothes than his food.
A particular incident that had happened one day showed the consequences that anyone who tried playing games with 'shy Su' would get.
Su had gone into one of the bathrooms he had gotten comfortable with using to have a fresh bath after having a tough duel with one of the trainees. Yangi, the petty trainee, had always been envious of Su for getting the opportunity to train under Master Yeong. He hadn't really minded that Lu Kang had gotten such an exceptional teacher; after all, the Lu Academy belonged to his father and it was highly likely that his son would inherit it. Therefore, all his jealousy had been directed at Su alone.
He had hence deviced a mischievous plan. He was hell-bent on humiliating Su.
He had racked his brains and concluded on setting a firecracker in the bathroom cubicle.
He then arranged the firecracker. Thereafter, he waited patiently for Su to arrive so he would go through the ritual of removing his clothes and hanging them on the line. He would then steal the clothes off the line while Su was deeply engrossed in bathing and then set off the firework so as to make him run out of the bathroom, naked. After putting everything in place, he and his musketeers had hid behind one of the doors.
Now Su was a very alert-minded person. As soon as he entered the bathroom, he had noticed foul play when he saw the awkward way in which the clothes line had been placed. He immediately looked around and formed a wicked smile on his face when he confirmed his assumptions with the scaredy silhouettes showing from behind the door. He had then entered into the bathing cubicle, made a show of pulling off his clothes, carefully placed them on the clothes line and made really loud noise with the water.
Confirming that he was now inside the bathroom, Yangi had sent one of his subordinates to steal the clothes on the line. The messenger tip-toed over and completed the mission that had been assigned to him. Next, he signaled to another of his followers to light off the firework. Then he waited excitedly for results.
One... two... three... then boom! the firework had gone off with a loud bang.
