Rushing through the forest with all their might, Valentina's group reached the city before evening. The guards stopped them at the gate because of Nida's corpse, and after explaining the situation to them, they unwrapped the cloth from her neck, exposing the wound.
"Oof... That's a bear alright.." The guard covered the wound with the cloth once again and sent the corpse back to the Sacred Order's Office. As for Valentina's group, they escorted them to the Roan Mansion in a carriage.
The sound of the main gate opening echoed throughout the mansion and the coachman stopped the horse right before the mansion. The four cadets jumped down from the carriage, followed by a Sacred Order knight.
The front door of the mansion slammed open. Omer and Nido stomped out of the mansion and approached the carriage.
"Nida! Where's my Nida!?" Omer cried out as he stared at Odis and Ouida.
