Chapter 149 - Garland Bear (II)

The bear cried out with anger and sadness when Ouida whipped a flower from the bush around its neck. It looked at Valentina and Ouida in anger and swiped its huge paw at them. Although the bear was fast, its attack seemed sluggish and disoriented. This was because the bear was rampaging. It didn't care about anything and only saw anger, which slowed it down.

The Garland Bears had a tradition of gifting each other flowers, which they would merge in the bush around their neck. The flowers were really important to the bears, as the flowers denoted their families and friends for them. They were very emotional creatures, and would become attached to the flowers as they often wandered through the forests alone.

"The flowers!" Valentina shouted out as she landed on the ground. "Aim at the flowers Ouida!" She wanted to enrage the bear some more and find an opportunity to deal a heavy blow.
