Zane shook his head. "Yeah, everything is fine." He smiled.
'You're finally speaking again.' Zane thought inside his head.
[Your blood is not the greatest vessel! I can't communicate properly.] The words and his own voice appeared inside his head. But unlike him, the voice inside his head spoke with haughtiness.
It had already been six months since Szal had communicated with Zane previously. After the Saint of Mayhem infused the book in his blood, he had only spoken to Szal twice briefly. Coincidentally, the last time Szal spoke with him, he was on a mission in Procella, just like now.
