When I wake up, I get dressed in my tunic, and long pants, putting on my black leather boots. I feel more like me than yesterday when I wore the gown and heels.
I'm just about out the door when I bump into Sir Terrell. He turns to face me, arching an eyebrow at my getup.
"What are you up to so early in the morning?" he asked me, and I blushed, forgetting that he had placed himself outside my door in case someone was to break in again and do me harm.
"I wanted to practice my magick as well. Can't let those skills I learned go to waste." I told him, and he nodded, stepping next to me as he gestured for me to move on forward.
"You're going to follow me?" I asked, disbelief warring my words. He nodded, as if it weren't obvious. "I won't stray far from the estate, I really would like some time alone though."
