King Dane burst into laughter, the movements of his laugh causing his throat to press a little on Queen Calandra's sword.
I felt my hands tighten to my sides, and Quill held on to me, feeling uneasy as well.
Only Lucios and King Dane's knight stayed calm, my father looming at the whole scene with barely concealed irritation.
"Stop acting like a child." My father said, silencing King Dane. The sword Queen Calandra held moved back to her side, as she backed away. Lucios pushed King Dane's knight back, a warning look in his eyes.
King Dane tried to smirk, but it didn't quite reach his face.
"Apologies. I was just trying to have some fun." He said.
My father stepped forward, and though King Dane was a good head taller, it was King Dane who shrank away.
