After few minutes of reflecting on her life, she showered and dress up for the day. She wore one of her best cloth since she would be going to sign a deal with Mac Entertainment. By the time she was done dressing, Hannah was awake.
"Good morning Valeria" Hannah greeted rubbing her sleepy eyes
"Good morning sleeping beauty" Valeria teased
"Why are you dressed up so early?" Hannah asked sitting up
"I will be signing a deal with Mac Entertainment" Valeria replied applying lip gloss on her small lips
"Really?" Hannah asked excitedly
"Yes" Valeria replied
"And you are dressed like this?" Hannah asked standing up from her bed
"Yes. This is one of my best dress" Valeria replied looking at her dress
"The cloth is nice but adding a little accessories to it will make it look so good on you and stylish of course" Hannah said looking at her from head to toe.
"I'm looking good like this" Valeria said checking the inbuilt mirror of her wardrobe. She was putting on a long white A-shape gown with flower patterns and a gladiator sandal, she packed her hair in ponytail with a floral pattern bow, a star necklace and earrings.
"You look good but more accessories make you look classy" Hannah said walking back to her wardrobe to check for some accessories. She came back to Valeria who was still wondering what was wrong with her outfit. She added a pink corset to Valeria's gown and added fashion chains to the corset. She changed Valeria's gladiator sandal to a pink ankle boot, added more necklace to the one she was putting on and wore some knuckle rings on her fingers.
"This bracelet I'm about to give you is only for a friend I cherish and that's why you will be having it" Hannah said putting the bracelet on her. She added few hair pins to her hair and changed the floral bow to a pink bow.
"You are good to go" Hannah said with a big smile on her face. Valeria look at her mirror and was surprised to see how little accessories changed her.
"Thank you very much Hannah" Valeria said smiling.
"You are welcome. Every accessories I used on you except the bracelet are all from EmJay's brand, that makes it easy for you to tag them for your accessories and corset" Hannah said with a smile
"Really? Thank you Hannah" Valeria said surprised she did that for her
"Let's take good pictures of you before your deal picture" Hannah said looking for a good spot for picture.
"Let's use Cat's bedside, it has more lightening" Hannah said after finding the perfect spot. Hannah snaped Valeria as she poses like a professional model.
"You are indeed a gem" Hannah said smiling at the pictures she took
"Thank you Hannah" Valeria blushed.
"You will keep this for later" Hannah said and Valeria nod. She pick up the pink bag Hannah brought for her and left after saying her goodbyes to Hannah.
Valeria remembered she didn't tell her mother about her outing today, she called her.
"Hello Mother" Valeria said after her mother picked up
"How are you Valeria?" Geraldine asked
"I'm good mother. I'm on my way to Mac entertainment to sign the deal" Valeria said walking down to the gate
"Oh! You are signing today" Geraldine replied
"Yes mother" Valeria said
"Success Darling" Geraldine said and end the call. The van stopped in front of the gate and a bouncer walk out to take Valeria in. After few minutes, they arrived at Mac Entertainment, Valeria was helped in as reporters were at the gate of Mac Entertainment waiting to ask Valeria one question or the other, she felt grateful that Hannah helped her to dress classy as pictures of her were taken.
"Answer one question please" The reporters were shouting at the top of their voices, Valeria smile and wave at them. She walk inside Mackenzie's office where few other people were waiting for her.
"Good morning" Valeria greeted with a smile
"Good morning ma'am" Everyone in the room chorused
"Have a sit" Mackenzie said and Valeria sits on the chair opposite him.
"Good morning everyone" Mackenzie said after clearing his throat
"This is the new internet sensation Miss Valeria Melvin" Mackenzie added pointing to Valeria
"You all will be working with her in your respective post, I chose each one of you to fill this team because I trust and believe in you" Mackenzie said now facing his staffs
"I want you all to introduce yourselves with your role because she's new to this celebrity of a thing" Mackenzie added and Valeria turn her head to look at them as they introduce themselves.
"I'm Daniel, your agent －I focus on securing acting roles, endorsement deals and other opportunities for you" Daniel said professionally.
"I handle public image, manage media relations, coordinate interviews and press releases, more like your eyes and ears out there. Peter, a publicist" Peter who was sitting next to Daniel said and Valeria nod understanding what he does
"A stylish celebrity like you needs Susan, the baddie stylist － I help curate celebrity's wardrobe and stylish looks for events" Susan said with a friendly smile
"What's stylish looks without stunning hair, I'm Phoebe, an hairstylist － I create stunning hairstyles and I am an evidence of my work" Phoebe said with evidence of stunning hairstyle on her hair
"Wears and hairstyles without a flawless makeup? I'm Kylie, a makeup artist －creating flawless makeup is my hobby" Kylie sitting next to Phoebe said with a smile
"Celebrities are always busy and they need someone to run their errands on their behalf, I'm Rebecca, your personal assistant －I assist with day-to-day tasks, manage schedules, handle travel arrangements and provide general support" Rebecca said with a smile
"Celebrities needs to keep up with their social media platforms and that's why Angel is here, I'm a social media manager －I handle social media presence, create engaging content and interact with fans online. I'm also more like your eyes and ears on social media" Angel said with angelic smile
"As a celebrity you need to stay fit, maintain a healthy lifestyle and prepare for physically demanding roles or performance and I help with that. I'm Jack, a trainer or coach" Jack said professionally.
"I work hand in hand with Coach Jack, I provide guidance on maintaining a healthy diet. I'm Emma, a nutritionist" Emma said with a smile
"What's a team without a lawyer? What if a lawsuit was filed? I handle all legal matters such as contract negotiations, intellectual property rights and other legal issues. I'm Barrister Fred, a lawyer" Fred said like the lawyer he is
"Managing finance might be hard with other celebrity lifestyle, that's why I am here. I manage finances, invest wisely and plan for the future. I'm Walter, a financial advisor" Walter said
"Safety and security is the second level of Maslow's basic needs of man. I ensure safety and well being of a celebrity especially during public appearances or events. I am Bianca, the head of the security team" Bianca said fiercely.
"Everyone of them needs someone to monitor their activities and that's where I come in. I oversee the celebrity's overall career strategy, negotiate deals and handle business relations. I'm Mackenzie, a manager" Mackenzie concluded the introduction. Valeria was impressed with their introduction and clapped a little.
"I'm Valeria Melvin, I will love us to work hand-in-hand and you all should put me through this lifestyle I never wanted but found myself, I have a lot to learn and I'm ready to learn. I'm a student and I will want you to consider my education in every decision you make, I cherish that more than this life I found myself" Valeria said with a smile and they return the smile back.
"Now it's time to sign a deal with us, ten percent of your earnings will be coming to the company, fifteen percent of your earnings will be used for C&C purpose needed to stay relevant, ten percent goes to marketing, promoting and others, the remaining percent is your earning" Mackenzie explained to Valeria who was listening attentively.
"Mackenzie, I really don't understand the fifteen percent part, can you please explain?" Valeria asked
"Company and Celebrity purpose like photographers, wears, posters and others" Mackenzie replied
"Oh thank you" Valeria said with a smile
"Sign here Miss Valeria" Mackenzie said showing her where to sign and she did. The videographer and photographer that has been covering the entire moment took pictures of her signing the documents. She smile at the camera after signing and shaked each and everyone of them. They exchanged all necessary information and Valeria was set to leave.
"I will be creating the team group and adding everyone" Rebecca announced and walk outside with Valeria and Bianca. The reporters were still outside waiting patiently for her to come out. Peter walk up to one of the reporters and granted Valeria an interview.
"Hi Gem" The reporter said
"Can we please know your name?" Another reporter shouted from behind
"Valeria Melvin" Valeria replied with a smile
"How old are you Valeria?" Another reporter asked
"I clocked eighteen few months ago" Valeria replied still smiling
"How did you bag the deal with EmJay?" Another reporter shouted
"A friend of mine gave me the outfits as a gift and EmJay loved it on me" Valeria replied not giving them the full gist.
"You didn't have a manager then?" Another reporter asked and Peter was about to stop the interview when Valeria replied.
"I didn't as at the time EmJay asked me to sign a deal with them but a friend of mine brought me to the midst of professionals before I signed the deal" Valeria replied with a smile and Peter was impressed with her response.
"Why are you here today?" The reporter in front of her asked
"I'm here for official pictures and videos and to be officially signed as a Mac Entertainment celebrity" Valeria replied still smiling at them
"You know there's a brand that manages every EmJay's celebrities but why did you choose Mac Entertainment?" A reporter asked and once again Peter was about to stop them but Mackenzie wave him off
"The sky is big enough for everyone to flourish and progress. They are two professionals but only one gets to manage" Valeria replied with a savage smile. Mackenzie was impressed with her response and knew she was going to be famous.
