Cold, desolate and lifeless were the three words that could be used to describe the castle. It stood tall, looking down on the small cottages, churches and market stands that surrounded it.
However, it did not change the fact that the building reeked of loneliness. There she stood, staring out of the stained glass window. An emotion of some sort flickering through her eyes.
Her long golden hair, and large amber eyes being the only vibrant colour to be seen behind the castle walls. Her body's built to lean for the dress she wore.
A dress she knew was designed for her to become petite again. She had earned the shape of body through sheer hard work. The royal life was not one she enjoyed, especially since it hindered her ability to be free.
