The sinking feeling didn't stop, as did the invasion of her five senses. Koko was floating. Her eyes were opened but she couldn't see anything.
A part of her was starting to regret picking the door. Her eyes then spotted a bright white light as it drew closer, before covering the enter space. Was this what Magnus saw every time he was in his inner world? Koko was gently lowered down, her feet touching the white surface below.
The sound of crying then reached her ears. It was her own voice. Her eyes then spotted a young child crying, covering their eyes with their arms. She walked up the child, face paling as the sinking pit in her stomach grew intense.
The place around her changed, revealing a child standing in front of a gravestone, raining drenching her white dress. Stephan was sat by her leg, sniffling whilst he stared at the gravestone. Koko finally came closer, and her face dropped when her mother's name was written on it.
