For the next couple of days Magnus felt weird around Mortale. The outlandish, borderline psychotic reaction from Cosmos made him rethink how he was going to approach his crew mate from now. Mortale wasn't stupid.
He had already noticed Magnus' aloof interactions with him.
To say the white haired swordsman was frustrated, was putting it lightly.
So when the entire crew was on the upper deck, each of them doing their individual things, Mortale pulled Magnus to the side.
"Fix up." Mortale said, no emotion behind his voice. Magnus looked at him and down, confused as to what the white haired male meant.
"Stop protecting me from a threat I am not afraid of." He spat, a little irritated now. Magnus averted his gaze, staring at Thali and Elvia, who were reading books. "I don't know what you're talking about." Magnus grumbled, like a child.
Mortale let a groan out, rolling his eyes. "Don't be daft. The little shit in you can't hurt me!"
