When Evilyna cast a spell on the reaper earlier, it was to send him back to the land of the dead, but instead, she had ended up turning him into a raven, and he had fallen into the portal, which was how he ended up here. The reaper wasn't pleased with this and he wanted her to turn him back to his original self.
Seeing her now and knowing she could hear him, he was relieved and he flew towards her, wings flapping in different directions until he could land on her lap.
"Turn me back now," the reaper bird demanded, while Eve continued to stare at it in shock. Seeing her not reply, he repeated his words again.
"I want you to turn me back," Eve finally broke out of the shock and she looked at the bird flapping its wings and moving about on her lap, almost like it was stomping its feet.
"I'm not the one who turned you," Eve said.
