Chapter 11 - Almost caught{11}

Hades walked forward slowly till he got to where she was. He could feel the shift in space but with ordinary eyes he couldn't see what it was.

Activating his infinite sight he stared hard and long at the misty figure and try as he could, he couldn't figure out if it was a man or a woman. The more he stared the harder it was becoming to see through the mist. And the most annoying part was that whatever was behind that mist was refusing to move! Not even a single twitch.

Sighing softly he walked around the mist, scrutinizing it for any opening. No matter how small. To reveal the slightest detail about the entity standing in his room. When he still couldn't get anything he tried blood control and it still didn't work. Shadow summon and it failed. He was about trying again when he noticed something odd.

The mist covered figure did not have a shadow nor an aura, smell, or core. Hell it didn't even have a soul point. That's when he tried space shifting.

When he realized that the figure might not be what he originally thought, he space shifted again with time manipulation this time. And to his delight the figure still didn't move. That was when he realized the figure was from a time different from their current one. If he wasn't mistaken that figure could be from eras before or after their time.

Eyes sparkling with delight he flicked his wrist lightly and two shadow seats appeared out of nowhere. Beckoning Samael over, Hades took a seat and smiled with a dark glow in his eyes.

" Samael dearest. Let's have some fun" he said and grinned so widely Samael thought his face would fall off. Knowing hades like he did. He knew hades would not tell him what it was that he saw and would only use whatever that thing was as an experiment he could have fun with.

You see, Samael and Hades might be two souls in one but compared to Hades, Samael is a child. Hades has lived far longer than anyone or anything could ever imagine. Being the ruler of hell has its perks when it came to things far older than the era he currently was in and he knew for a fact the fates have decided to toy with him again.

He looked at the space and tilted his head slightly, poked out his tongue a little and scrunched up his face. For someone as old as Hades. He sure does act like a child.

"Now I'll do the talking and you answer only to me. What are you and what do you want here?" He asked the figure playfully and when the figure didn't move or give any signs of answering. Hades clicked his tongue in annoyance.

"I am not a very patient person so it would be good for you to speak up now." As soon as the words flew out his mouth a dark bloody mist began pouring out of his black eyes and covered the whole room in less than five seconds. When every inche of the place was covered he locked it in time freeze but as quickly as it happened so did it dissipate. He only did it out of annoyance. Turning towards Samael who still hadn't said a word he raised an eye brow.

"What? Don't look at me like that. Hades. I don't sense any threatening aura or killing intent from whatever the fuck that is so I'm going to bed. You can stay and play with it but as for me. I'm out. I have some business to get to in one of the shadow realms later today and it's already 4am. I need to be up by six and back before eight else mom would flip and I honestly do not want to face an angry mom today so have fun without me." Samael said dismissively.

"You idiot. You don't even need sleep! And you're supposed to be the ruler of hell yet you'd shit your pants at the first sight of an angry mother. Pft what a joke."

"Wait till mom hears what you just said then we'll see who shits their pants first"

"Your little brat! You wouldn't dare" Hades glared at his other half menacingly. He might be the ruler of hell for thousands of years and might even be the most brutal, heartless demon to ever exist but when it came to an angry Silverline he would rather hide in a grave..scratch that. He would rather run to the deepest parts of hell and watch his shadow army laugh at him than bite the bullet and face her. And they usually laugh until he threatens to tell on them. Yes. She is that scary but when she isn't angry then silver is the softest person you could ever meet.

"Oh try me and see. I just might tell her what your little shadow minions have been up to lately." With a triumphant smirk, Samael turned away from Hades to go take a shower before sleeping. With a gloomy face hades turned around only to find the figure gone. Cursing loudly he stomped into the bathroom with a naked Samael. Not having the patience to peel his clothes off his skin, he tore them off like they were made of paper. Tossing the ripped clothes away without looking where they went, Hades stepped into the shower room with Samael. 'Accidentally' bumping into him.

Thinking of ways to play with whatever that thing was, Hades completely ignored Samael cursing at him for joining him in the shower and hogging the whole space to himself.

Samaelias' POV

Never in my whole 23 years of living have I been scared shitless. I almost peed my pants back there. Thankfully those two were pretty occupied with their bickering and I was able to slip away undetected albeit carefully.

Man that hades is one scary man and if he's afraid of the queen then I definitely shouldn't get on her bad side.

Speaking of the queen, it's been a while since I last saw her and I wonder where that replica of hers is and what it's doing. Maybe she warned me about the prince because of Hades. That man could definitely slaughter me with just his stare and I don't think he'd have any nightmares about it. Ugh I wish I was that strong and frightening. Maybe I should go look for the queen. I also need to figure out why I'm still in this place seeing all these things. It's not like I can do anything to stop them. Ahk.. this is annoying.

Third person POV

For the first time since Samaelia got to this strange place she felt tired. She felt drained, exhausted, spent even. Maybe that little encounter with Hades was taking a toll on her? Maybe his mere presence was enough to shake her whole existence even if this was the past. She couldn't imagine how much more dangerous he would be in the present where she was IF he was still alive. But can the owner of hell die? They say he was damned for all eternity, to man those gates and rule over the worst sinister kinds of demons, the condemned, the abandoned, the forgotten. With heavy grief and ever flowing hatred, they feed off the misery of the tormented and condemned souls sent there for eternal damnation. If Hades can rule over such beings without batting an eye then I don't think he's someone to be toyed with.

Sighing softly she trudged back into the room after taking a stroll for a while. When she got there she only found Samael sleeping. With his face so relaxed in this state he looked like an angel and not the co-owner of hell. He looked serene, beautiful, dare she say he looked ethereal.

Realizing she had been standing over him like a creep she turned to move away when his eyes sprang open and turned his head so fast one would think he wished to snap it. Not noticing him Sam trudged tiredly and walked through the wall and slumped onto the bed instantly falling asleep.

Unknown to her Samael had woken up and went directly into the room she was sleeping in and marched towards the bed.

Black swirling in phlox purple he stared down at her or rather at "it" seeing how they could still only see the misted form and nothing more. If one was to look at Samael right now they would scream Bloody Mary and bolt out of there.

Samael and Hades both blended into one right now without hades being dormant in him looked terrifying and ominous.

Glaring down at the figure they watched it lay still for hours, stomach down and it seemed to be sleeping.

His jaw stitched in annoyance as he stared at the figure wondering why it was sleeping so peacefully while he couldn't even figure out what it was. This stupid "thing" has taken refuge in his chambers. Tsk. If only he knew what he was dealing with.

Snapping his fingers his whole attire changed. His longer slender body was now adorned by a light purple tailored suit. Looking down at himself he couldn't help but feel impressed by what he saw.

"Hades where did you get this from? It's impressive."

"It's a little something from the the future. Far from now actually and I wanted to surprise mother dearest with a neat look. I'll be wearing the black of that when we meet her later." He answered with a smirk on his face.

Stepping into a whirl portal they both whispered at the same time.

"Let's get this over with."
