Many of them still remember that night. How many times they watched it, wondering whether Lapis had survived or not. Many people believed him, others did not. Some still believe that he escaped. A small group of people are still keeping an eye out for Lapis, searching all over America to find him. They found nothing, except for those few survivors in alcatraz, who have also disappeared.
After some time, they stopped looking for him. They just accepted that he's gone, lost forever to the world.
