Chapter 15 - Chapter 15: Venture (1)

After some time, the two finished their negotiation.

The prisoners who were held captive were then given to the knights of the priestess.

"Are you sure that you all will not rest first before going back?"

"Yes. There are matters that we need to resolve in our city. Also, if you are planning on trading with us, make sure to bring at least a bottle of that thing you called 'wine' Sir Marco"

"I will make sure to do just that, priestess Jarianne"

The demi humans then left as quickly as how they arrived in the castle.

"What's this now?"

"What? Are you for real right now, AQA?"

While Marco asked AQA if what he red was the real or not, the three who were not allowed to participate in the mission felt envious of Aldo.

After the demi humans left, they all gathered once more to plan out what they will be doing.

"Why are they doing a death stare at me?"

"I think its because you managed to get intimacy points with the demi human priestess from earlier just because you were a magician"

"Ah, that makes sense"

"....!"

Knowing the reason why the three were glaring at him in such manner, Aldo raised his mug and smiled mockingly.

"Tsk! So, what are you guys going to do?"

"Prepare, obviously. Me and Aldo will be setting off in five days with Aldo junior"

"You won't be taking Lexi?"

"No. They are demi humans with orc blood who loves elven meat. Some of them may attack and eat Lexi on the spot if I were to bring him with me.

Besides, you need his help here. Just make sure he doesn't overexert himself while I'm gone"

"Then, why is that bastard coming along with you?"

"Because I need someone who will make another oath of mana with the priestess. Additionally, having more manpower is good since they seem to be facing a problem"

"Why are we bringing Aldo junior then?"

Aldo asked after getting Marco's attenion by poking him with his wand.

"Who will carry our things then? It's not like he ever gets tired"

"That is true"

"With you gone, I doubt he will be productive if either the three of them were to command him"

"That is... true"

"Also, your distance between each other is also a factor to how much power Aldo junior can exert. Having him besides you at all times would be for the better"

"....."

Aldo could not talk back after Marco drowned him under factual words.

[A mission has been generated]

"Perfect timing!" Leon said with delight.

[Mission grade: B]

[Mission difficulty: A]

"AQA, how come there nothing in the 'Failure'?"

[Answer: It is because this is a multiple option mission. This is a mission where you are free to do as you wish. You will reap what you sow]

After receiving AQA's answer, Tony and Leon smiled maliciously.

"Are you not worried about what they will do while we are away?"

Marco whispered to Aldo as Charlie hit the two for thinking of evil ways to complete the mission.

"Not at all. Charlie is here. So he will definitely make sure that those two won't go over the line. If anything, you should be worried if me, Tony, and Leon were to be left in the same mission"

Marco then imagined a situation where Aldo was left in the castle instead of Charlie.

"Yeah, I think that would be the worst possible combination among us"

During the five days of preparation, Marco and Aldo finished all of the products they will need to bring with them to seduce the demi humans in order to establish a trade.

"Its simple but I am proud of it. What do you guys think?"

The were in shock while the others were amazed.

"Amazing craftsmanship, Sir Marco"

"The details made here is simply awe inspiring, Sir Marco"

"And to think that you only finished this in less than three days, you are so amazing master!"

"Oh, it's nothing much... So, what do you~ guys think?"

Still speechless to see the bonafide carriage of a royal family from a medieval era, the others were thinking if he really made it.

They then looked for it in the in hope to see that Marco only bought it for the sake of showing off.

"Why do you guys not trust me? Especially you, Aldo! I thought we had a connection!"

"It's not here" Aldo said as he ignored Marco.

The four of them then reluctantly believed that the carriage was made by the asshole of the group.

"How do you know how to make things like this?"

"I took a two year course in sculpting plus my knowledge that was pass down to me by my uncle who is a carpenter of the town and there is my aunt, my uncle's wife, who is a mechanic of the town.

My cousins who taught me how to build other things from scratch, how to hunt though I never learned how to butcher them, and how to swindle others since they would always trick me"

"....."

"What?"

"So you're a typical boy from the countryside who went to a big city to become a businessman"

"How did you know?"

Marco asked in disbelief.

"Let me guess, you find office women in tight short skirts or those with black leggings hot when you were in your teens?"

"Yes. And I still do"

"Wow. You really are... forget it"

"What? What is it?"

The three went back as they dragged the others while Aldo went inside the carriage after creating golems to act as the horse that will pull the carriage.
