Chapter 1 - CHAPTER 1: A Panda's Starting Point

The scene opens with a shot of Chikara's classmates lying on the ground, motionless, as he stands over them with his red bamboo staff in hand.

His face is stoic and emotionless, a stark contrast to the carefree and happy-go-lucky persona he exhibited before. The camera then pans to Shikadai, who is barely conscious, lying next to Chikara.

Shikadai manages to muster up the strength to speak, his voice barely above a whisper. "Chikara...stop...Boruto and Kawaki..." he pleads.

Chikara's eyes narrow as he glares off into the distance, his mind flashing back to the countless battles he's fought and the losses he's suffered. He speaks in a low, menacing voice, "I've seen enough of this world to know what needs to be done."

The camera then cuts to a shot of Boruto and Kawaki, standing several meters away from Chikara. Boruto unsheathes his katana, while Kawaki brandishes his staff.

"Chikara...I didn't want it to come to this," Boruto says, his voice heavy with regret.

Kawaki's voice is cold and distant, "But you've forced our hand. We have no choice but to take you down. This is for the greater good"

The tension between the three of them is palpable, each one ready to unleash their full power. The camera then cuts back to Chikara, who readies himself for battle, his bamboo staff now pulsating with a red aura.

"I'm sorry, Boruto...Kawaki...but I won't let you get in my way," Chikara says, his voice firm and resolute.

The camera then shows a close-up shot of each of their respective weapons as they clash together, unleashing a burst of energy that illuminates the surrounding area. The scene then fades to black.

"THIS STORY GOES BACK SEVERAL YEARS BEFORE, TO A TIME WHERE WE THOUGHT WE LIVED IN PEACE. IT JUST SEEMED LIKE THAT BUT THE REALITY WAS THE GREAT EVILS OF THE WORLD WAS JUST WAITING FOR SOMETHING... someone... and unfortunately... that someone is just a panda-loving kid who just wanted to prove himself as someone strong. Yeah this is my story, not the story of someone who wanted to be Hokage, not someone who wanted to be a Supporting shadow, just a simple story of a boy who wanted to protect his village and friends . I am.... Chikara Koguma"

Chikara Koguma stood on the platform of the train station, watching as the train approached. His heart raced with excitement and anticipation as he prepared to start a new chapter of his life.

Chikara couldn't help but feel a rush of excitement as he realized that he was finally living his dream. "I can't believe I'm really here," he said to himself, a grin spreading across his face.

As he looked around the train, he noticed that some of the other passengers were giving him curious looks. Chikara was used to this - he knew that his panda obsession made him stand out. But he didn't mind; he had always been proud of his unique personality.

At the age of 11, Chikara was finally old enough to attend the Ninja Academy in the Hidden Leaf Village. He had dreamed of becoming a ninja for as long as he could remember, and he had spent years honing his skills and studying the art of combat by observing and analyzing the panda he's taking care of.

As he boarded the train, Chikara took a seat near the front and glanced out the window, admiring the beautiful scenery. He then noticed a girl sitting across from him, gazing out of the window with an intense expression.

Curiosity getting the best of him, Chikara observed her closely, trying to gauge her character. She was dressed in a long black coat and wore her scarlet hair tied back in a tight bun. Her eyes were piercing and her posture was rigid, as if she was trained to remain alert at all times.

The girl caught him staring and turned to him, her eyes studying him for a moment before she turned back to the window.

As the train journey continued, Chikara couldn't shake off his curiosity about the mysterious girl. He wondered if she was a ninja, or someone from the Land of Iron known for their swordsmanship skills. He decided to approach her.

"What's your name?" he asked, trying to sound casual.

The girl gave him a quick glance before turning her gaze back to the window. "Reina," she replied curtly.

Chikara felt a bit discouraged by her lack of interest, but he was determined to break the ice. "Are you going to the Academy too?" he asked.

Reina hesitated for a moment before nodding. "Yes, I am," she replied, her tone hinting at a deeper story that Chikara couldn't quite decipher.

Chikara tried to engage her in a conversation about ninja skills and the Academy, but Reina remained aloof and didn't seem interested in small talk. Chikara took the hint and decided to give her some space, still intrigued by the mystery surrounding her.

As the train ride continued, Chikara noticed a sudden shift in the atmosphere. The sky grew darker and the wind picked up, sending shivers down his spine. Suddenly, the train shook violently, throwing Chikara from his seat. As he struggled to keep his balance, he noticed a piece of debris heading straight for Reina. Without hesitation, he pushed her out of harm's way, saving the girl.

Reina was surprised by Chikara's selflessness and grateful for his quick thinking. However, she remained distant and didn't say much, leaving Chikara wondering about her true motives.

Upon arriving at the Academy, Chikara was surprised to see Boruto Uzumaki, the son of the Seventh Hokage, also a new student. He had heard of Boruto's legendary skills and felt a spark of rivalry, eager to prove that he was just as good, if not better.

During training exercises, Chikara found himself paired with Boruto, and they both gave it their all. Although they were rivals, they both had an unspoken understanding that they were on the same team.

As the training exercises began, Chikara and Boruto faced off against each other. Boruto, with his quick reflexes and mastery of various ninjutsu techniques, was a formidable opponent. Chikara, on the other hand, relied on his panda-based fighting style, which emphasized strength and endurance.

As the match between Boruto and Chikara began, the audience held their breath in anticipation. Shikadai, Inojin, Sumire, and Sarada watched with keen interest, surprised to see Chikara, a seemingly easy-going and gentle person, take on Boruto, who was known for his exceptional skills.

Boruto charged forward, using his lightning-fast speed to launch a barrage of punches at Chikara. Chikara, however, dodged and weaved his way around the attacks with surprising agility, his panda-based fighting style allowing him to move with the grace and power of his animal counterpart.

Shikadai's eyes widened in surprise as he watched Chikara's movements. "He's fast," he muttered under his breath.

Inojin nodded in agreement. "And his footwork is incredible. He's not just relying on brute strength."

Metal Lee was equally impressed. "His fighting style is so unique. I've never seen anything like it before."

Meanwhile, Reina watched the match with a sense of quiet intensity. She knew that Chikara was a talented fighter, but seeing him in action against Boruto was an eye-opener. She made a mental note to keep an eye on him in the future.

As the match continued, Boruto unleashed his shadow clone jutsu, creating multiple copies of himself and surrounding Chikara. Shikadai and the others gasped in shock, expecting Chikara to be overwhelmed by the sheer number of opponents.

But Chikara surprised them all, his panda-like reflexes and quick thinking allowing him to dodge and counterattack with ease. He used his own jutsu, the Panda Claw Technique, to slash through the shadow clones and get to the real Boruto but just before he hits him, Boruto dashed forward, his movements fluid and quick. He aimed a punch towards Chikara's stomach, but the panda ninja was already one step ahead. With a swift motion, Chikara dodged the attack and countered with a strike of his own. The two exchanged blows, their fists and feet moving in a blur.

Sarada watched the match with a keen interest, her eyes flickering with something akin to excitement. She was impressed by Chikara's skill and agility, and couldn't help but wonder what kind of person he really was.

Boruto and Chikara exchanged jabs and kicks, each one dodging and countering with lightning-fast reflexes. The crowd was on the edge of their seats, watching every move.

Suddenly, Boruto jumped back and formed a hand seal. "Shadow Clone Jutsu!" he shouted, creating a handful of copies of himself.

Chikara didn't falter. Instead, he put more chakra in his hands. The arena was filled with the clash of kunais and claws as they clash.

As the dust cleared, Boruto and Chikara emerged from the smoke, both still standing strong. They charged at each other, their fists colliding with a resounding boom.

The fight continued, both fighters pushing themselves to their limits. As they exchanged blows, it was clear that Boruto had met his match in Chikara.

Eventually, the two combatants backed away from each other, panting and sweating from exertion. The audience erupted into applause, shouting out the names of both fighters.

Boruto turned to Chikara, a look of respect on his face. "You're pretty strong," he said. "I'll have to watch out for you in the future."

Chikara smiled, feeling a sense of pride at the compliment. "Likewise," he replied. "You're one tough opponent. What do you say, we end this now?"

Boruto smirks as he says "I wouldn't have it any other way, no-holds-barred"

Just as they were about to release their final attacks on each other, their teacher Shino Aburame appeared in front of them, blocking their path.

"That's enough," their teacher, Shino Aburame, said sternly. "Fighting is not just about strength and technique, it's also about control. This is a training exercise, not a life-or-death battle."

Chikara and Boruto hung their heads in shame. They knew that their teacher was right. They had allowed their competitive spirits to get the best of them, forgetting the true purpose of their training.

"I'm sorry, sensei," Chikara said, bowing deeply.

Boruto followed suit, "Yeah, sorry about that. We got carried away."

Shino's expression softened slightly as he looked at his two students. "I understand that you both have a lot of potential and talent, but it's important to remember that being a ninja isn't just about being strong or winning battles. It's about using your skills to protect and serve your village and its people."

Chikara and Boruto listened intently, taking Shino's words to heart.

"You both have unique strengths and abilities," Shino continued. "Chikara, your panda-based fighting style is creative and unpredictable. And Boruto, your mastery of the shadow clone jutsu is impressive. But remember that your skills should be used for good, not just to defeat your opponents."

Chikara and Boruto nodded in agreement. They knew that they had a lot to learn, and that their teacher was there to guide them.

"From now on, I want you both to focus on working together, not against each other," Shino said, a hint of pride in his voice. "Use your strengths to complement each other, and you'll both become even stronger."

Chikara and Boruto exchanged a glance, their competitive spirit replaced with a newfound sense of camaraderie.Shino's words had reminded them of why they were at the academy in the first place. They were there to learn, grow, and become the best ninja they could be. And they knew that, with their teacher's guidance, they were on the right path.

As Boruto and Chikara finished their intense match, the rest of their classmates rushed onto the training grounds to congratulate them.

"Wow, that was intense!" Shikadai said, patting Boruto on the back. "I didn't know Chikara had it in him to keep up with you, Boruto."

Inojin nodded in agreement. "Yeah, Chikara's panda-based style was really unique. And Boruto, your use of the shadow clone jutsu was amazing as always."

Sumire and Sarada also approached the two boys with smiles on their faces. "Congratulations on a great match," Sarada said. "You both showed us what it means to be strong and skilled."

Sumire chimed in, "But as Shino-sensei said, it's not just about being strong. It's about using your skills for the good of your village and its people."

Chikara and Boruto exchanged a grin, feeling proud of their efforts. They had pushed each other to their limits, but in the end, they had both grown stronger because of it.

As the group of classmates dispersed, Reina watched from a distance with a small smile on her face. She had been observing the entire match with interest, but had yet to say a word. Her mysterious aura only seemed to deepen as she nodded in congratulations to Chikara.

Shino Aburame cleared his throat, interrupting the moment. "Well done, both of you," he said, nodding approvingly. "But now it's time to focus on the next match. Sarada Uchiha, you'll be facing off against a transfer student from the Land of Iron, Reina."

The mention of a new opponent sparked a sense of excitement in the group. They knew that each new challenge would help them grow and improve, and they were eager to see what this new student had to offer.

As Sarada and Reina prepared to face off against each other, Chikara walked up to Reina and gave her a subtle nod.

"Good luck," he said quietly, not wanting to draw attention to himself.

Reina, who had been silently watching the previous match, was surprised by the gesture. She turned to look at Chikara, a small smile forming on her lips.

"Thank you," she replied, her voice equally quiet.

Chikara returned the smile before walking back to his seat, settling in to watch the match. Reina couldn't help but feel a sense of appreciation towards Chikara. Despite their brief encounter, she could tell that he was a good-hearted person who genuinely wanted to see others succeed.

As Sarada and Reina faced each other in the arena, a tense silence settled over the room. The other students watched in anticipation as the two girls prepared to fight.

Sarada broke the silence, "You're from the Land of Iron, right? What brings you to our academy?"

Reina smiled slightly, "I came here to learn from the best. And from what I've seen so far, this academy is filled with talented ninja."

Sarada raised an eyebrow, "Is that so? Well, I'll have you know that I'm one of the best in this academy. And I won't let anyone stand in my way so don't expect me to hold back"

Reina nodded, her expression serious. "I wouldn't have it any other way."

The two girls leapt apart, their hands flying through a series of seals as they prepared to attack. The other students watched in awe as Sarada's Sharingan activated and Reina's sword glinted in the light.

It was clear that this was going to be another intense battle, and everyone in the room was eager to see who would emerge victorious.

"Let the match begin!" Shino Aburame announced as he stepped back.

Reina and Sarada stood facing each other, their weapons at the ready. With a fierce look in their eyes, they charged towards each other.

The clash of Reina's sword and Sarada's kunai echoed through the arena, and the two girls locked eyes in a fierce battle.
