It was a sunny morning. In a street of Dazewol , a fair was going to be held today as every shop owner was busy decorating their shop.It was a fair to celebrate coming of spring season. when everyone was busy, at the last shop of right corner a small girl was busy playing with her kitten too, when someone shouted...
"Rose! come here and help me.... such a lousy girl"
"uncle?"
Little Rozana heard her uncle's voice and got scared as it was high pitched voice for a little girl to warn her. She was well aware of that tone and hurriedly bid farewell to her cat and let it play by itself...
"Stop scaring her Adan. She is just a small little girl.." Her Aunt confronted His uncle in a very coquettish tone...
As Rose was coming into the shop with her small legs, anyone can see the blisters on her foot that were making her hitch in pain on every step. Although the pain was not that much but to a small girl like her, it was.
Her aunt saw this and went to pick her up..
"Oh my! where is your footwear Rose? "
" Bitten by the cat."
Rose replied to her Aunt, under the warmth of her aunt's love she felt safe, she snuggled onto her aunt's neck.
"Becky! you are spoiling her..you know that, right?"
"Adam, can't you see her foot? What if it get infected?"
Adam sneered watching both lady and girl, " I already bought a pair of sandals for her 2 months ago, now what more you want me to do ? Do you think it's easy for me to raise a girl of unknown origin? Do you know what everyone is talking about me and you?"
Looking at furious Adam both Becky and Rose got stunned. It's true that nobody knows where that little girl for Carter family came from? As 2 years ago ,one morning the whole village saw a little girl playing in the garden of Adam and Becky. As they were just married for 3 years at that time and suddenly got a small girl , everyone was thinking that either one or both have some issues and can't have kids.
That is the reason of angry Adam to shout at Becky. Becky knows this too but what can she do. 2 years ago when they found that girl alone in the forest near Dazewol, she was just too cute and was calling Becky mother giving a weird feeling to her. Thus Becky took Roze with her to her home.
Collecting her thoughts she said carefully "I know Adam and I'm sorry but look at this girl don't you feel heartache."
Thinking about something Adam took few seconds to speak" Do you know that fair will start at any time. let her do something and you should do whatever you were doing, right? We will talk about that later."
Feeling reluctant she nodded and let Becky decorate the shop by arranging flowers randomly, this is what Rose like to do too.
Fair started as time passed and was now noon. Sun was up high and every corner of street was bristling with crowd and noise.
Adam was from the pottery family so the shop they prepared was a pottery shop with lots of different vases of different shapes and sizes.. with the addition of little flowers that Rose decorated, the shop was looking average compare to other shops that was decorated with different flowers and paper designs .
Becky and Rose were busy arranging the items and Adam was busy telling about the pots and to customers who came to the shop. As it was fair there was many customers. Till Evening half of the shop was empty and Adam was happy counting the money that customer have given...
Suddenly a loud noise sounded startling everyone and Rose slid down from the stool she was sitting as the vibration was very much that the stool could not be able handle. Becky quickly took her in arms as Rose hurt her head and her head was bleeding.
"Rose open your eyes...Rose." Becky was busy trying to wake Rose up and on the street people started to run as Wingers was trying to get kidnapp people to loot them and to clenched their thirst..
"Wh....what are they doing here .. wer.. weren't they killed 10 years ago by them.." someone muttered in fear watching from afar.
Everyone was running from fear not noticing that there were total four wingers. Two were coming from both the sides of the street. There were nowhere to run.
As they were coming from both the sides Adam can see them from his shop and Becky too. She was panicking for what to do as they were getting closer and closer.. Hence she can see one of them smirked watching Becky and Rose..
She can clearly see that they were coming to her direction. She sensed that something was different when they were looking at Rose like the one they targeted was not the people panicking but her..
In the street everyone was shouting and running to save themselves but here Becky was looking at the wingers stunned after few seconds coming back to her senses she ran out of the shop and turned to opposite direction of street where a small valley was located, going towards the forest behind Dazewol.
