The two of them stayed on the riverbank for a few more minutes, they just lay down while talking to each other. When they stood up, they cleaned themselves using the water from the river. And because Loki could hide them using his ability, they didn't have any problem bathing in the river wearing nothing. They soaked into the water without any concern of getting seen by other people.
Rika was the first one to come out of the water and was followed by Loki. Then, both of them wore their clothes. Putting on his sweater, his eyes darted to Rika watching her with a smile on his face. Loki raised his eyebrows and then expressed a gentle smile.
"You are so handsome when smiling like that... That's my favorite expression of yours." Rika commented as she put on her belt. "You look like a dashing prince."
Loki narrowed his eyes. "So, I am not handsome when not smiling?" He asked.
Rika slowly shook her head and walked toward Loki. She put both of her hands on his shoulder and looked up at his face with a tender smile. "You are handsome and cool when serious... But I find your smile as your most attractive feature. Too bad, you rarely smile like that."
"Isn't it already too late now to try to entice me with your praises?" Loki said and wrapped Rika's hips with his arms. "Rika." Then, pulled her toward him and gave her a peck on the lips.
Rika narrowed her eyes. "You took advantage of me earlier... You made me make a promise while in the middle of great temptation because you knew that I couldn't reject it, silly you." She said, pouting her pink lips.
Loki slightly tilted his head sideways. "Don't tell me you are going to take it back now." He said.
Rika pressed Loki's pointed nose using her index finger. "No. From now on, I am yours, and I am more than fine with it." She said with a soft tone.
"Good." Loki let go of Rika and started to walk out of the river bank.
After a few minutes of walking Loki and Rika returned to where Ariel and Lian were. They found them sitting on the grass while snacking on fruits they picked up from the trees around them.
"What took the two of you so long? You have been away for more than an hour. Did you play in the river or something?" Ariel asked as she took a final bite of the green fruit she was holding. She stood up and scanned the two with her attentive eyes.
"My bad, my bad... I got a little carried away while washing so it took us much longer than it should." Rika said while chuckling.
Ariel darted her eyes between Rika and Loki who was just silently watching them. "You two... Are you by chance..." She shook her head. "Never mind. It's already afternoon, we should travel back home now before the sun goes down." She said and walked toward the direction of the kingdom.
Lian followed Ariel, leaving Rika and Loki behind. Before starting to walk, the both of them stared at each other, talking using their eyes.
"Let's go," Loki said and walked to follow the two. On the other hand, Rika walked beside him.
As they returned to the guild, only Rika, Lian and Ariel came into the guild to submit their loot and take their rewards because they concluded that Loki's appearance would once more cause great havoc in the guild hall. For now, they decided to wait until the sudden news of a new class S got old, which they thought would only take some time.
After they distributed their rewards, the four of them took different paths, where both Ariel and Lian traveled back to the castle of the kingdom, and Loki and Rika traveled back to the mansion. They took the same path as before which Loki was familiar with and walked all the way to the back part of the mansion.
"Lady Milfy is probably home by now," Rika said as she stood at the stone path in front where Loki and she met this morning. "I'll go to my room and change clothes before meeting her. She would be very angry if she saw me wearing this, especially now that she probably knows that I sneaked out again." She said and connected both of her arms.
"I see," Loki said. "See you." He said and turned his back to Rika.
"Loki..." Rika's soft voice called.
Loki stopped and faced Rika. "Yes, Rika?"
Rika jogged towards him and gave her a peck on the lips. Then, she slowly walked back with a smirk on her beautiful face. "You made me very happy today."
Loki just nodded and walked out.
He traveled back toward his room. The room was located on the opposite side of where Milfy and Rika's room was, across the massive dome which was the living room of the mansion. Loki's room was in the middle of all guest rooms which he had specifically chosen because it was the nearest to the staircase which would lead to the second and first floors.
He opened the door and was greeted by a spacious room with white walls and furniture inside. As he walked through, his eyes darted to the life-sized mirror, and stared at himself for a few seconds. When he was done analyzing his appearance and smiling at the reflection, he walked towards the bed and slammed his body to the soft cotton. He stared at the ceiling with an unfading smirk on his face.
'What a crazy day this is...' He said to himself. "A beautiful fox girl." He said as if he could not believe what just happened today. Every time he closed his eyes, what he could see was Rika's seducing gaze... Her red face, smooth skin, and soft moan. "I can still hear her alluring moans inside my head... Damn it. Maybe that's our first, but I am sure that's not the last. I can't get enough of that girl."
Slowly his eyes closed and fell asleep due to tiredness from working all day.
