"I never agreed to stay away from Melody. I never will."
I shrugged as I moved to go closer to my mate.
Sophia stood like a soldier fending off the bad guy. She was ready to stop me from going to Melody.
As if she could.
"Step aside, Sophia," I waved her aside.
She stood still in Melody's defense and I noticed that Malfoy was also ready to put up a fight.
Did they probably forget that I'm the Alpha king?
"Stay away from Melody," Sophia hissed. "Why won't you just understand that?"
"Stay away from her?" I scoffed.
Like, is she serious?
"She's my mate," I reminded her. "And she bears my mark."
How could they ask me to stay away from Melody?
She's my woman. My mate. The mother of my pups. She bears my mark and resides in my heart. She's the woman I spent years searching for.
How could they ask me to stay away from her after finally finding her? How is that possible?
