Chereads / The Sexist / Chapter 10 - 10.

Chapter 10 - 10.

After dinner with Aiden, we decided to watch a movie. I'm lying on top of him, ear to his chest, listening to the sound of his heartbeat. He shifts beneath me, and I look up at him as soon as our eyes meet, our lips follow suit.

Aiden moves his hand to my cheek and strokes it with his thumb, deepening the kiss, his tongue slips into my mouth, and I moan, but he pulls away just as I begin to enjoy it.

"God, I missed you," he says kissing my lips.

"Work has been so stressful without you," he kisses me again.

I had missed him too, the way he held me, kissed me, and just made me feel special, there was no man like him, he has always been the one for me.

"I missed you too," I say, we both sit up and he signals for us to take upstairs to his room, and I nod my head, in one movement he swoops me into his arms and carries me bridal styles up the stairs, "You have no idea how much."

When all the intense lovemaking is over, he pulls out of me and gets off the bed, and walks to the bathroom, where he discards the used condom into the trash and washes his hands, he returns and collapses on the bed next to me and he gets into the blanket and I spoon him, I kiss the top of his head and close my eyes.

For some reason, I couldn't help but feel so damn guilty and that's a first after sex with Aiden.

"I love you, Nikki," he whispers, kissing my bare chest, "Even though, I hurt you, I still love you."

Aiden's voice breaks before he could say more, and I immediately feel bad, I look down at him and wipe a tear from his cheek.

"It's okay, you know it's all in the past but, I need time Aiden, I still need time," I reply.

"And I respect that,"

"Thank you," I reply and kiss him on the forehead.

"Sleep Aiden, we have work tomorrow," I yawn, and soon as my eyes shut, I'm asleep.

Xander

I wake up at 07:00 in the morning feeling happier than usual, I get out of bed and walk to the bathroom, I brush my teeth and make my way to the kitchen, I get to the bottom of the stairs, and I see Damien pacing up and down in the lounge speaking in French. I quietly make my way to the kitchen to make myself a cup of coffee, as I do so, I whisper the smurf song.

Damien walks in and sighs heavily as he sits on the island chair.

"Top of the morning to ya' Damien," I chuckle.

"Oh, sorry, morning, I was on the phone with mother dearest, she was asking when I'm coming, and I told her I was working, and she lost her shit," he laughs lightly, "I forget how feisty she is sometimes."

"Oh, hey, as soon as all of this is over, I'll arrange for you to go visit her," I reply.

Again, another act of generosity, I'm not all bad.

"Thank you, Xander, I'd appreciate it," Damien smiles.

"Good, now Coffee?"

"Yes, please,"

"So, you're French?" I asked, pouring him a cup of coffee and handing it to him.

"Yes, my mother is French, and my father was American," he says.

"That's cool but why do you say, your dad was?"

"Yeah, he died when I was five, so my mom raised me on her own,"

"Single parent club," I say raising my cup and Damien raises him too.

"You seem to be in a good mood," he asks looking at me with curiosity in his eyes.

"Today is a good day Damien, I have dinner with Nikki tonight,"

He chokes on his coffee and then starts coughing, "Are you okay?"

He nods his head and takes in a deep breath, "Wow, I was not expecting that."

"I can tell, and I thought maybe I should try this women thing, you know," I say.

"I'm proud of you Andy," he smiles, "Charles would be so happy for you if he heard this."

And right in the queue the diva walks in, he's got his bonnet on and silk gown, and he's got plans tonight too.

"Hear what?"

"That I asked Nikki out for dinner," I say, Charles stops mid-yawn and starts squealing.

"Oh James," he says excitedly, "You're finally going to break your virginity."

"Charles –

"And I'm going to teach you everything you need to know," he says, pouring coffee into his cup.

"Well, I –

"What are you going to wear? You need to get your hair –

"Charles,"

He gasps, "Oh my gosh, you don't even know how to kiss, I'm gonna –

"Dante!"

'What?"

"Shut up," Damien says, earning a scowl from Charles.

"You're getting too damn excited," I chuckle.

"Well, I can't help it, I'm happy for you Andy. I mean I've been waiting for this day for a long time," he says tearfully.

"Is he on his period?" Damien shakes his head.

"I know Charlie but relax. I still need you to send her the time and location," I say.

"And no surprises or anything that could ruin the date," Damien adds.

"Yeah, yeah, I know," he huffs.

"Seriously Charlie, it's just for business purposes only, trying to build a relationship with a client,"

"Okay, I promise I won't Charles-it-up," he says with his hand on his heart.

"Thank you,"

"Oh, we have a meeting with her and Aiden at 10:00 sharp," Charles says.

"Good, that means I have time to get a haircut," I reply, putting my cup in the sink.

"Bro, finally, you need one, like today," Damien says, "Your hair is a mess darling."

And that was the first time I'd ever heard Damien sound so feminine, and I must say, it suited him but I only huffed, and my hair blew out of my face.

"Charles, call Martin, tell him it's an emergency,"

"Way ahead of you Andy," Charles says as he walks out of the kitchen, already dialling his number.

Within 20 minutes, Martin knocked on our front door, Charles let him in, and they shared a hug and kisses on their cheeks. They walk into the lounge where Damien and I are watching tv and I get up and smile at him.

"Xander, darling, how are you?"

I walk over to him and hug him, "Good but my hair isn't."

"Mamma Mia, get a chair, Charles wasn't joking."

"I know, I kept telling him to get a haircut and he wouldn't listen," Charles tsks.

"He's lying," Damien's deep voice echoes through the room, Martin turns and looks at Damien, I swear he almost drooled when he laid his eyes on him.

"Oh, and you are, Mona mi?"

Charles scurries to Damien and stands in front of him, "He's, my boyfriend."

"Oh, don't worry honey, Edwin finally proposed, I've been tamed," he gushes, showing Charles the diamond-encrusted ring.

Charles gasps, "Dios mijo, that is beautiful, we should have a double date and celebrate, honey."

"I think so too we sho-

"Uhm, hello, have we forgotten about my hair," I say impatiently.

"Right, right, sorry Xander," Martin says, he picks up his bag and places it on the table, he pulls out his razors, blades, and combs.

"I can see you're growing a monobrow too," he says examining my face.

I groan, "Please tell me you're joking,"

And his silence says it all, "Make me beautiful."

"I knew he wasn't gay," Charles says sarcastically, and I glare at him.

"Why don't we go get ready and leave Martin to work his magic, on our little boy," Damien says with a smirk and they both laugh, Martin just chuckles.

These two enjoy picking on me.

After an hour, when Martin is done, he hands me the mirror, and I grin, he outdid himself this time, and I look like a brand-new man.

"Thank you, Martin, you outdid yourself, this time,"

"Always a pleasure, darling," he says as he packs his things.

"I'll give you extra for your marvellous work and for coming all this way on short notice," I say, getting up from the chair.

"Thank you so much, and I was in town for a fashion show anyway,"

"That's great, well I need to go get ready, as soon as you're done you can leave," I say.

I leave and go to my room to get ready; I go for an all-black suit with a red tie, black shirt, and black oxford shoes. Once I'm done, I pick up my briefcase, and phone, and head back to the kitchen, where I can smell waffles.

"Woah there Mr Red Tie, you are in a good mood today," Charles says with a smile.

"Charles you always got something to say," I reply with a chuckle.

"Yeah, otherwise your life would be boring," he says in a duh tone.

I scoff and roll my eyes, not wanting to admit that he is right.

"X will be here in five minutes, he's coming from his daughter's award ceremony," Damien says getting up from the couch, "He sent pictures."

"Aww, let me see," Charles coos, Damien hands him his phone, and Charles coos as he swipes through the pictures, "She is so freaking adorable and a bloody genius too."

Charles shows me pictures of a little girl dressed in a navy-blue dress, white shirt, and navy-blue blazer. She had caramel eyes and brown curly hair, she was a mixed baby, and she is adorable.

"She is adorable," I smile.

"Oh wow, you are breaking all your records today," Charles laughs, "That's the first time, you've ever complimented a child, a girl for that matter. I wish you were like this every day; this is the Xander I remember."

"Me too," I whisper to myself.

"We need to get going guys, we have a wonderful day ahead of us," Damien says cheerfully.

"With Xander's new attitude, yes we do," Charles grins.
