"I think you made them better than Mama." Alexander said reverentially after eating his first slice of Laylah's pancakes.
" And that's saying a lot seeing as his mama's a great cook." Dinah said, turning to Laylah with a full mouth. Laylah could only smile,
"I'm glad you're enjoying them." she said and reached for her mug full of hot cocoa.
"Might come here ever morning for breakfast." Alexander said and made Dinah shake her head,
"That's not how it's done, cousin. That's not how you get to spend the night."
Laylah just laughed,

Edward pushed his chair away from the dining table when his food was finished and his plate was cleared,
"leaving for the training ground?" Laylah asked him as she watched him get up,
"contrary for what you might want to believe. I, too enjoyed your cooking, and since woke up truly early today, your meal has left me sleepy." he walked toward her and kissed the top of her head,
