Alexander was up right before dawn but decided it was for the best if he waited and let everyone sleep for some time, after all, they had decided for first light. If they weren’t up by dawn, then he’d rouse them up himself.
The dog was up, however, so they took a walk together, a good pass time, he decided. A good chance to reflect.
And of course, at the forefront of his mind was the fact that Layla and her cousin were witches. When he wasn’t going crazy about finding her, he was running mad with how much just one bit of information could change so much of everything. Because so much had changed, had it not?
The crazy part was that she had known all along what he is, and so had Edward.
And Dinah? He sighed at the thought of his cousin. She had known everything.
Which meant she knew that Edward was a sorcerer, and had let herself fall for him. For he knew his cousin, he knew her acceptance for all, her ability to let go, and her ability to hold on.
