Nadia and Keiko enter the station, led by Jack, and Erwin follows behind. Once they are in a central area, Jack turns around and says, “This is as far as she can go. You come with us.”
“I’m not leaving Keiko. I don’t trust any of you to leave her unattended. She comes with me.”
“Listen, this isn’t how it works you brat. You are a suspect in an open investigation. We’ve been quite tolerant of your demands. Technically you should be in cuffs right now. Don’t push it.”
“What Jack is trying to say Nadia, is that unfortunately you are a person of interest. This means that you don’t really have a say in how things go. We’ve done our best to be courteous and accommodating for you, but I’m afraid we can’t do that anymore. Please do as we ask now.”
Nadia can tell that Erwin is doing his best to remain kind, but his patience is running thin. With a sigh, she turns to Keiko. “Hey, I’m going to go with them now, so you’ll be alone for a bit, ok?”
