“Elliot, was that your real sister, or is she something else to you?” Keiko decides to ask this once Elnora has made her exit. “No offense intended, but she’s a real bitch. Nothing like you at all.”
Elliot looks after Elnora in the direction she left for a moment, before finally turning to face Kei with a defeated smile. “Yeah, we get that a lot. I can understand why you and everyone else would think that though. To be fair, we really are night and day when it comes to our personalities, but there are certain principles we share. She truly is my blood sister, we’re twins.”
“No way?! I can’t believe it!” Kei looks a bit closer at Elliot now, as though trying to find the resemblance. “Ok, I can see the similarities in your physical features, but it still feels hard to believe. I mean, to assume you were raised by the same parents, how’d you end up so different?”
Elliot sighs as he leans against the wall. “There’s the thing, we weren’t. Not when it mattered.”
