Nadia opens her eyes in response to the sun’s rays that beam through the cracks in the blinds. “Uh, my head…what happened?” She sits up as she clutches her head, which is still pounding.
“Oh!” A sudden voice immediately gets Nadia’s attention, and she looks up to see a woman in a sun dress looking back at her in shock. With a hand over her mouth she says, “You’re awake?”
Nadia is confused as to why she seems so surprised. “Yes…it appears that I am. Who are you?”
“I-, I’ll go fetch her at once! Please wait a moment!” She hurries out the room through the same cloth curtain she passed through to enter. The room is small, just big enough for the large bed.
Nadia moves to get out of the bed but is met with a striking pain in her right leg and arm. “Ah!”
