Finally, you are charged with being an illegal resident with no identity on record. Is this clear?”
“Yes, very clear, Your Honor.” Elliot sits on the stand before the judge, his resolve steadfast.
“To these counts, how do you plead?” The silver-haired judge stares at him with hard eyes.
“Guilty, on all counts, Your Honor.” There’s a hushed wave of murmurs across the audience.
“Acknowledged. Are there any final words you’d like to say before I give my official ruling?”
