AUGUSTINE’S POV
“Why did you leave the Saintess out there?!” I asked the captain.
“She ordered me to go back… please forgive me, your holiness,” Captain Fannar replied while kneeling in front of me.
“Get out of the way! I will find her!” I shouted, then put on my cloak and left the tent where the wounded were. It is quite chilly out here now that it's already night time.
I know that Lady Quincy’s capable of treating herself, but from what I heard, I am afraid of what might happen to her. The captain reported that her mouth’s covered in blood from vomiting her own blood and that she looked like she would pass out for how pale she looked before he left her with those beasts.
“Knights! Prepare yourselves! A Wolf and a Phoenix are headed this way,” one of the knights shouted. I ran towards their direction and saw the beasts headed towards us, but there’s something on the Phoenix’s claws. I looked closer and it was Lady Quincy.
