Chapter 65 - Chp 57 : Tex and Siun

[Siun : I'll be back guys]

He said as he took one last look at Silas and Elena sleeping peacefully

[Are you really sure about this Tex?! We are on the third floor!]

[Tex : Trust me you'll be perfectly fine!]

After some more reassurance from Tex, Siun finally gained enough courage to jump out of the window. And as Tex predicted Siun was fine, he just had a few scrapes on his hands and knees

[Wow, that was fun! Having good genes is the best!]

But as he got up Siun was hit with another one of his headaches and scratched his shoulder as he stumbled back onto the hard ground

[OW SHIT, that one actually hurt!]

[Tex : Don't mind it your going to get healed tomorrow by the saints anyways]

[You mean they can get rid of my headache?] He said with hopes in his eyes

[Tex : Oh, no your stuck with that headache. I meant you can get your shoulder healed, haha]

Once again Siun wanted to strangle the little cat

[Anyways, what now?]

[Tex : You wanted to run didn't you? And test out your eyes]

[Mhm]

[Tex : Go into the forest] Tex said as he hovered towards the forest behind the church [Tex : It's right there]

[Are you sure about this? What bout the demons...] Siun said looking at Tex skeptically [Your not trying to get me killed and replace me with another host are you?]

[Tex : Of course not! and I assure you there will be no demons. Remember, the saints are out doing their little ritual, demons usually tend to not come near them during that time]

[Why not? Isn't it a great opportunity to get rid of them?]

[Tex : The ritual scares most demons away, and unless there is demon disciple you should be fine]

That made Siun more comfortable with going into the forest, as long as he was some what near the saints he should be okay

So Siun quickly ran towards the forest, he ran as fast as he can so that nobody would see him sneaking out

As he ran he finally felt alive again, the truth is Siun hated his life in this world. Apart from the people he interacted with in this world he felt suffocated and trapped...

[Ahh! This is the best, running in the middle of the night with nobody around!]

[Tex : Huh, I never expected you to be the vigilante type with how you were in your past life]

[Haha no way! Me working as a vigilante? That's way too much responsibility] Siun said as he climbed up onto the roof of a small house to try to test out his Seux eyes by looking at the few birds flying around

[Are there any other people like me Tex?] Siun said as he sat down crossed leg on the roof

[Tex : What exactly are you talking about] Tex slowly hovered himself over Siun's head and got into the classic loaf position

[People who got forced into a different world after they die]

[Tex : Forced? I would never force you to do anything you don't want. What are you on about]

[HAH, yeah as if I had a choice. It was either this or getting my soul tortured in prison for eternity!]

[Tex : Don't blame me I'm just the system and those are the rules, and I don't understand you! Why wouldn't you want to -be reborn in a fantasy world? Compared to your old life as a high-school drop out working minimum wage and barely surviving in your 'apartment' this world is a thousand times better!]

[...So what's the answer to my previous question? Or even better tell me about the host you had before me?]

[Tex : Aish do you really expect me to remember? I'm not even sure myself!]

[Wow the omniscient Tex dosen't even remember his past host? Hehe guess you aren't that great after all]

[Tex : I'm being serious here... I have some fragments of my past, but I'm not even sure if they are... real?] He sighed out loud [I don't remember anything clearly from before I met you, they feel like they aren't my memories... but I'm sure the ones I have made with you are real, and my own]

Tex's story was followed by a long while of silence, Siun greatly empathized with Tex's feelings at that moment

He too felt like he didn't actually belong in his old world and he didn't remember anything from his past life before he came to this world, it was all a blur
