After a month of treatment, Vivienne was finally released from the hospital. But she was still advised to take ample rest in her home and avoid any strenuous activities.
"Excuse me, Mistress! Master Sterling is waiting for you!" Simran chimed, with a bright smile on her face.
Vivienne had just bid farewell to her friends and the hospital staff who had taken care of her during her stay. She felt grateful for their kindness and care.
"Sorry for the wait, but why did you call me and wait here?" Vivienne asked, feeling curious as she expected her parents to be the first to arrive and wait for her.
Her parents rarely left her side when she was hospitalized, once they received the news. Vivienne decided to let bygones be bygones and see what happens with their relationship from now on.
As she approached Lucien, she noticed him holding a bouquet of flowers which he offered to her with a warm smile.
