Lucien's anger boiled so intensely that his mind turned eerily calm, and just one look sent shivers down Miles Blackwood's spine.
"Who...who are you really?" Miles stammered, studying Lucien's face. From what Miles knew, Lucien was a successful businessman, but his piercing gaze was unexpected.
"Keep them in check. I need to question him later," Lucien instructed Butler James before moving from there.
"Vivi...!" Lucien whispered upon spotting her in the compartment.
He hurried inside, and Vivienne also became aware of his presence.
"Lucien, you finally came to see me!" Vivienne exclaimed. She had no clue she was being held here against her will, and Lucien had been searching frantically for her.
"What do you mean? Please, don't tell me...!" Lucien, puzzled by her words, considered the possibility. Vivienne had remained remarkably composed from the start, showing no signs of stress, only weariness.
