"Yes, that's what they said," Butler James explained, "and when they arrived at the scene, Mistress Vivienne was gone. They noticed a few cars leaving in a hurry, so they decided to follow them."
Lucien asked with a glimmer of hope, "Did they manage to note down the car numbers or, even better, find out where those cars might have gone?"
Butler James' next words frustrated Lucien even more. "Yes, they did take note of the car numbers, but it turns out those plates were fake. And as for the cars' locations, once they reached the outskirts of the city, those cars simply vanished. They had no idea what happened or where those cars went."
"How can cars just disappear?" Lucien said, feeling confused.
"I don't know, but it really happened!" Butler James shook his head.
"Where are the Brown Bears right now?" Lucien asked, wanting to hear it in person to verify if they were telling the truth or making things up.
