"It's… such an honor! Such an honor!" the rabbit-fetta repeated, bowing to Cael and Ginevra again and again. With each bow, his long, thin beard almost brushed the floor.
It really wasn't the welcome Cael expected. No, at first it all went about the same way as before. He and Ginevra descended a couple of floors until they met a fetta walking on his business. The person—a civilian, by his lack of weapon or armor—ran away in fear and crying for help. Soon enough, actual guards appeared, led by a short rabbit-fetta, whose many tribal ornaments indicated his high rank.
Then, instead of fighting "the devils", the rabbit-fetta began that show of devotion.
Cael pressed his lips together.
"Who are you? Also… why do you look like that?"
