After meeting up with his brothers, he decided he needed some fresh air and for that to happen, he would have to leave the palace secretly.
He disguised himself like a college student wearing casual clothes and less expensive accessories like a crowned prince would and sneakingly exited his room. Thankfully for him, Mustapha, his personal guard, was running some errand he had assigned to him earlier but even though he wasn't present, he was still around.
"Your highness are you going somewhere?" Abdullah turned around and saw a guard standing in front of him looking at him weirdly. He must think that he was crazy because he also thinks the same. Why was he sneaking from his own room?
"Yes I am and you will not stop me"
"I am sorry your highness but I am not allowed to let you out of the palace and even if you do, I must be beside you" the guard informed making the crown prince cease his brows together.
"On whose orders?"
"My order!" He heard a very familiar female voice say. Turning his head around, he was met face to face with his mother and he thought,
From frying pan to fire.
"You may leave" he dismissed the guard by the side and he bowed deeply before leaving.
"Mom please, I want to leave without any guard following me, you know I hate it" He complained, clearly frustrated. He hates it when people follow him; he thinks as if he doesn't have his own privacy, which he really likes. He has been pleading with his mother for the past few hours but she didn't bulge which made him more upset.
"Why son?" She said not looking at him. "You know that it's not safe for a royalty like you who is the heir to the throne to roam about without any guard right?" She was clearly annoyed by his request. What the hell was wrong with her son that morning?
"Please mum just for today I promise I won't ask you this again, just agree now mum? Please please please mom". He said in a sing-song tone. He could as well just leave without informing anyone about it but his pesky personal advisor and guard wouldn't let him do so. He was the actual reason he so wanted to leave the palace.
"Okay, just for today and after today I won't even let you leave your room without a guard agreed?" The Queen reluctantly agreed.
"Yes mom, I agree with you, you are the best ever". He kissed her forehead then left saying his goodbies to her.
He went to the garage and drove out his rolls Royce to God knows where. On his way to wherever he was going to, he was lost in his train of thoughts when he suddenly bumped into someone's car.
"Oh shit!". He cussed, but didn't come out of his car. Why? He didn't know either. So everything happened within the blink of an eye.
A girl in her early twenties with moderate heights, and a round baby face and a small pointed nose, and big brown eyes, with plump pink lips stared back at him angrily. He had to say, she was exceptionally gorgeous but why was she furious? Oh yeah! He bumped into her car.
Even with her furrowed brows, she still looked cute but what she did next made him have a change of heart.
She banged her hand on his window.
"What the hell?" He said then came out of his car. Looking at her angrily.
"Are you out of your mind or were you blind when you decided to bump into my car?" She said, anger flashing through her cute brown eyes.
"Are you out of your mind?" He said trying to control his anger. How dare she talk to a prince like that. He thought.
"Excuse me? You were the one who bumped into my car and now you are accusing me of bumping into you Really?, look I don't have time for your shit so excuse me" He glared at her then entered his car and zoomed off. He didn't know what had gotten over him that he lost his cool and blamed the innocent woman who was on her right for bumping into him when he was the one who actually did it.
As he zoomed off, he neither knew where he was going nor did he have any place in mind, but he found himself in front of a hospital which was named 'ZENZIBAR' written boldly with dark ash color on the front of the building.
"Seriously?". His irritated voice whispered. Pulling in the packing lot of the hospital and going inside was really not his intention but he still found himself walking aimlessly inside.
He suddenly remembered that he used to have a friend there who use to work as neurologist and aimed to pay him a surprise visit. But a visit without anything in his hand was totally unlike him.
Walking to the elevator, someone bumped into him again. Argh he is tired of people bumping into him or he doing the same. As he shifted back he noticed it was a girl who was scratching her temples as if in pain and stumbling backwards.
"Ouch!" She cried in pain, then her gaze landed on his pair of boots, then his dark blue jeans, then on his long sleeved hand which was folded up to his elbow and a pair of Apple wrist watch which decorated his hands so nicely. She kept staring at him and it made him so uncomfortable that he had to break the silence between them.
"Are you done checking me out or is there anything missing that I need to put in place?" He smirked as he saw her staring at him. He notice her turn pink with embarrassment then she lowered her gaze which made him smile inwardly.
"Huh?" She asked, "I wasn't staring okay?" She snarled at him but he somehow found it amusing.
"Well you bump into me then start staring at me, really? Don't you know how to lower your gaze or weren't you taught that at home?" He asked looking at her pitifully.
"How dare you question my home training? Weren't you taught not to poke your big nose in what does not concern you?" She spat at him all while pointing her index finger at him accusingly.
"And who the hell are you to point an accusing finger at me?" He fumed in his thick American accent. "And I know you have to think twice before you guess what I am saying right?" He mocked her still with that ugly stupid smirk on his face.
She glared at him then said
"Oh! Is that what you are thinking? Then Mr.arrogant, you are terribly and just in case we meet in the again in the far future, don't you dare speak to me rudely or else I don't know what I will do to you. You are warned". She snarled then left him there dumbfounded and fuming with rage.
He wanted to follow her and tell her a piece of his mind but he couldn't. He was so angry, he wanted to break something but he kept his cool since he was not at home and nobody knew he went out except his mother.
Now he was really regretting why he came out alone without Mustapha his personal guard who follows him everywhere except to his bedchamber. And that is the reason why he hate guards following him around but his mother being so persistent about it thinks that he is more safer with his guards.
Now he thinks she might actually be right about it. He sighed angrily and went back to his car driving straight home his surprise visit can happen another day. He thought.
