"Katherine!" Apollo called getting her attention, "Follow behind me!" with that he lit up like a candle, and flames of sunlight rippled off of him. Kate was confused for a second when she realized she what he was doing and an elated smile filled her face. She ran behind him drinking in his flames and adding them to hers, when Apollo stopped and turned to slash his sword down on one of the pirates before giving her a wink before he was off and attacking again.
