Kate let out a frustrated groan, she needed to get Zagryus out of there and Circe was standing in her way.
"Take a breath, Kate," the Maiden said, "She isn't here for you." Kate looked at Circe again, the goddess's eyes hadn't left Hermes who had frozen the second she emerged through the forest. "Just step to the side and let them have it out," the Crone advised but Kate wasn't sure that would be a good idea either, the look on Circe's face would have shrank mortal men and gods alike, she obviously loathed Hermes and Kate wasn't willing to just leave him there with her.
"Go, Kate," he said not taking his eyes from Circe, "Get Zagryus to the boat, his mother is probably already waiting for him there."
"But-"
"I believe he told you to leave mortal," Circe rose a finger and pointed at her, one of the lions circling her broke off from the pack and began to stalk towards her.
"Enough Circe," Hermes stepped in front of Kate, "You aren't angry at her."
