As they soared above the fields Kate looked out around her, this place was even more beautiful than she had realized. It was covered in every direction with wildflowers, large shady trees, and an abundance of the softest-looking grass she had ever seen, and everywhere she looked she saw the happy spirits enjoying an afterlife they had earned.
She looked up at Zagryus who stared steadfastly up ahead, his jaw was set, and she could feel his steady heartbeat against her, it was oddly comforting. He looked down to check on her and noticed her looking at him. He quirked a brow playfully at her, "Everything alright Kate?"
She gave a curt nod and looked back out at the fields, "Will this take much longer?"
"No, but I should give you a little bit of a heads up" his beating wings slowed and they glided through the sky.
