Chapter 7 - "I'll do it"

The players ran down the corridor, their hearts pounding with fear and adrenaline. They had escaped the first room, but they knew that the madman had more traps and challenges waiting for them.

As they turned a corner, they were met with a small room with no windows, only a single door. The room was furnished with a table and chairs, and on the table, there were seven glasses filled with a clear liquid.

The madman gestured towards the glasses. "Here's the game," he said. "Each of you must drink one of these glasses. One of them is poisoned, the rest are not. The one who drinks the poison will die. If you refuse to drink, you all die. Choose wisely."

The players looked at each other in horror. They had never been faced with such a dire choice before. Each of them hesitated, unsure of what to do.

"Come on now," the madman said, his voice growing impatient. "Time is running out. You must choose now."

The players looked at each other nervously, wondering who among them would drink the poisoned glass. They had already played the madman's sick game for too long, and their nerves were frayed.

Finally, one of them, a young woman named Sarah, spoke up. "I'll start," she said, her voice shaking. "I'll choose first."

The others protested, but Sarah was resolute. "Someone has to do it," she said. "And I'd rather it be me than one of you."

With a deep breath, Sarah picked up one of the glasses and drank the liquid inside. She waited, holding her breath, as the others watched in horror.

For a moment, nothing happened. Then Sarah's eyes widened, and she started to gag. Her face turned pale, and she collapsed onto the floor, convulsing violently.

The other players rushed to her side, trying to help her, but it was no use. Sarah's body went limp, and her breathing slowed to a stop. She was dead.

The players stared at her in shock and horror, realizing that they had just witnessed the madman's sick game claim its first victim. They knew now that there was no way out of this nightmare, and that they were all at the mercy of a madman who had no qualms about killing them.

As they mourned Sarah's passing, they realized that they had to find a way to stop the madman before he killed them all. But they knew that it wouldn't be easy. The madman was cunning and sadistic, and they were trapped in his deadly game.

Their only hope was to stay alive long enough to find a way out, and to stop the madman from hurting anyone else. It was a daunting task, but they had no choice but to try.
