A small argument occurred between the students. On the one hand, they hoped to contribute to receiving the Goddesses' favors and blessings. And on the other hand, they realized that they were still far from worthy of participating.
Instead of contributing, they could die a meaningless death amidst the onslaught of large-scale destruction.
