"Okay mom, I'm leaving"
"Take care Ariel"
I took my backpack and said goodbye to mom.
When I left the house I found that it was very hot, so I went back and brought an umbrella.
"Good afternoon Miss Ariel"
"Good afternoon"
When going through the checkpoint I met a few guards to whom I greeted.
The way to the apartment where Noah lived was calm, in less than 20 minutes he was there.
When I got there, Noah was already waiting for me.
"Hello Noah"
"Good afternoon Ariel"
He joined me and we started walking.
"How's your day going?"
"Well regular, my brother is outside so I don't have anyone to talk to"
As we talked I discreetly put my umbrella over his head.
We talked the whole way about basically anything.
"Your parents are okay?"
"..."
When I said that Noah stopped and his expression turned complicated.
Now that I think about it... it's the first time I've asked about her parents, I've told her several things about mine but she hasn't said anything about hers.
An awkward silence settled over us.
Trying to change the atmosphere, I changed the subject.
"Y-And in what subjects do you have complications? I can help you in whatever you find difficult"
"Well, math and chemistry are complicated for me"
Luckily Noah smiled again when he changed the subject.
Ufff… I dodged a mine.
But this arouses my curiosity, does his situation have to do with his parents?
After 40 minutes of walking we arrived at Olivia's house.
Could she have called a cab? Well yes, if she could have done it, but I like to walk.
Also I asked Noah and she had no problem.
I went ahead a bit and rang the bell.
After about a minute the front door opened.
"Good afternoon Olivia"
"Hello Ariel"
Olivia smiled and walked to the gate, then opened it and let us in.
"Hello good…"
"Good afternoon, President Noah."
We go inside and follow Olivia into the living room.
"Hello Sara, Hello Mia"
"Hello Ariel, good afternoon President Noah"
"Hello Ariel, Noah!"
Sara and Mia were around a table with several books and notebooks in front of them.
"Make yourself at home"
Following Olivia's words we took a seat.
"Do you want juice or water?"
"Juice for me"
"I want water"
"Good"
Olivia went to the kitchen and returned with our drinks.
"Thank you"
"Thank you so much"
After relaxing we took out our books and began to study.
Time passed slowly, you could only hear the sound of the pencils writing and the pages turning.
It was…relaxing, to say the least.
"Oh... I don't understand this"
While completing an exercise I heard Mia complain out loud.
"Let me see"
I raised my head and saw Olivia walk towards her and read the question, after a few seconds she frowned.
"I don't understand it either"
I think she should help her.
I got up and discreetly got behind Mia and read the question.
It was physics.
"This… do this like this…"
I leaned over and with my pencil began to write the formula in Mia's notebook.
"From here you just have to clear like this"
A trace of understanding flickered in Mia's eyes.
"Oh, it seems that I was wrong in this part, thanks Ariel"
"It doesn't matter"
I was about to go back to my seat when I noticed Sara's eyes on me, so I walked towards her.
"What part are you missing?"
"Uhm...everything..."
Faced with such a statement I did my best not to laugh.
Calm down, not everyone understands at first.
Slowly and carefully I began to explain the exercises to Sara.
In a short time, Sara began to understand and solve the others on her own.
"Thank you Ariel! I owe you a meal"
"Haha no problem"
Since I was there, I approached Olivia and began to explain some things to her.
When I finished I went back to my seat.
I was about to dive into the reading when I caught a quick look from Noah.
TRUE! Forget Noah.
I couldn't delay my study any longer so I dragged my chair over to Noah's side so I could study while I taught him.
"You told me that math and chemistry are difficult for you, let me see"
"Thank you…"
"You are welcome"
For the next hour I spent next to Noah, teaching him what he didn't understand and giving advice on a few things.
From time to time I would lean over her so that I could write down some formulas, which inevitably brought us into close contact.
But at the time he was not aware of it.
While I was at it I had finished studying what was difficult for me, so I spent the rest of the time helping Noah.
xxx
"And I finished!"
It was approximately 6 when Sara left her notebook.
"Me too"
"Me too"
Olivia and Mia followed.
"I... I think I also..."
Finally Noah put down his notebook and stretched.
"Oh! Look at the time, we haven't had dinner."
With surprise Olivia got up and ran to the kitchen.
"Girls, do you want a snack?"
"Yeah"
"Clear"
"If you are very kind"
"Yeah!"
To Olivia's question we all responded.
"Ha... I think I'm ready for the exams"
I mumbled.
"Well... I think I won't do so well... ha..."
Noah replied quietly with a sigh.
"And so? You understood everything today"
"Only in these classes... I haven't had time to study the others"
"Oh..."
Faced with such a confession, I remained silent.
After thinking about it for a moment I had an idea.
"How about I come over to your house tomorrow and help you study?"
Noah thought for a moment.
"Isn't that a bother?"
"Of course not, I'm happy to help"
"So yes… I would appreciate your help"
"So it will be so, see you tomorrow at your house, what time could you?"
"Any time"
"At 9 am?"
"Clear"
"Then see you there"
After a while Oliva arrived with flans and a few cookies.
"It is what I have at the moment, I hope you enjoy it"
Without further ado I took one of the flans and with a spoon I took it to my mouth.
Hm… peach…
"That's lovely! Thanks Olivia"
"I have more if you like"
"Yeah!"
For the next few minutes the girls had a light hearted conversation while Noah and I ate.
"Ha… it was delicious"
I sighed as he wistfully recalled the taste.
"Want?"
As I recalled my moment with the flan, I saw a spoon near my lips.
"N-No, I'm not such a glutton"
This action on Noah's part both surprised and embarrassed me, so I politely declined.
"I'm not very hungry, you can have the last spoonful"
"But…"
"Take it as an advance for tomorrow"
Oh…
Without further ado I gave up and opened my mouth, the spoon entered slowly and deposited the flan on my tongue.
Hm… how delicious.
"They are very close"
While thinking about what just happened I heard Sara speak.
I quickly turned my head and saw that the three girls were silent, looking at us with a smile on their faces.
I feel like I've done something I shouldn't.
I tried to open my mouth but speaking would only make it more embarrassing, plus refuting it would only show that this is something abnormal.
I glanced at Noah but she didn't seem embarrassed by how normal this is between girls.
To lighten the mood she threw a question at the girls.
"Y-And how did you guys meet? I see they are always together"
Perhaps without waiting for my question, Olivia was surprised, but then she smiled sweetly and said.
"We've known each other since first grade, by pure chance our seats were always together so we eventually became friends, that's all"
I feel like there's something else, but it would be rude to ask.
After a few minutes we said goodbye to the girls and left.
Olivia offered us to eat at her house but due to time we declined.
These area is safe so we walked.
"Ha… I like the night breeze"
I said without thinking.
"Yes, it is refreshing"
Noah replied.
During the way we just enjoy the atmosphere.
After some time of walking we arrived at Noah's house.
"See you"
"See you tomorrow Noah"
After saying goodbye, I walked home on my own.
"I'm here"
"Hi Ariel, how was your afternoon?"
When I entered I found my dad watching television.
"Very nice…"
For some reason the act of intimacy with Noah came to mind.
Stop thinking about it! It does not mean anything…
