The woman who just spoke blended so well with the wall behind her that it was nearly impossible to see her. If it hadn't been for her eyes, and a slight flash of her bright white teeth, I never would have seen her.
"Are you telling the truth? Did Queen Talia truly save you all?" She spoke once more, and if I hadn't known any better, I would have thought she was a child. I knew that wasn't the truth. However, it was just the tone of her voice. She might be young at heart, but no demon here was younger than two hundred years, at the very least.
"Indeed." Acacius said.
"I would not lie about this." Yannis added. "She saved us. And just in time as well. Erebos and his army appeared right as we were leaving through her magic door."
"That's wonderful." The woman spoke, and several other voices echoed her sentiment.
