I was waiting with the others when my brother and Cypress came toward us. They had sent word that we needed to meet up, that they had learned something. However, most of us hadn't heard anything or seen anything, so there wasn't much that we needed to keep looking into.
This whole excursion was starting to feel pointless and futile, so I was glad that the two of them had found something, whatever it was. And as they walked closer to where we were, I saw that they had had a lot to think about in the last several minutes. Whatever they had discovered, at least it seemed to be somewhat important to the cause.
"What happened?" I asked as soon as Reagan had stepped foot onto the blacktop of the parking lot.
