The baby was here. I had already been here in the underworld for six months. My kingdom was flourishing. My people were happy. And now I'm a mom.
It was strange, honestly, to think about how much had changed in such a short amount of time. Since I awoke on my eighteenth birthday less than a year ago and found out that Lex was missing. Then when I learned he was my mate. It had been a whirlwind since then. And I wouldn't change a thing about it.
I've grown a lot in these last seven months since my birthday. Grown into a Queen, Goddess, wife, and now a mother. It made me understand that, no matter what happened, life was going to move onward. Things were going to change, and you just needed to move with the flow of it.
