Chapter 11 - Rising from the darkness

As Li Xuan struggled to get back to his feet, he saw Mei Hua approaching him, her eyes still glowing with a dark energy. He knew that he couldn't defeat her on his own.

In desperation, Li Xuan called out to Mei Ling, hoping that she could help him. "Mei Ling, please come to me! Mei Hua is possessed, and I cannot defeat her alone!"

Almost instantly, Mei Ling appeared beside Li Xuan, her eyes ablaze with a brilliant light. She faced Mei Hua and began to chant, her voice rising in pitch and intensity.

As Mei Ling chanted, Li Xuan could feel the power of the dragon surging through him. He stood up, feeling stronger and more powerful than ever before.

With a shout, Li Xuan charged towards Mei Hua, his sword at the ready. Mei Ling continued to chant, and Li Xuan could feel her power amplifying his own.

As Li Xuan lay on the ground, battered and bruised, he watched as Mei Hua advanced on him, her eyes glowing with a sinister energy. He knew that he was no match for her in his current state.

But then, something within him stirred. It was the power of the dragon, calling out to him, urging him to fight back.

Li Xuan closed his eyes and focused all of his energy on the dragon. He felt its power surge through him, filling him with a renewed sense of strength.

With a roar, he leapt to his feet and charged at Mei Hua, his sword held high. She met his attack with a blast of energy, but Li Xuan was ready for her. He channeled the dragon's power and deflected the blast with his sword.

The two combatants clashed, their weapons ringing out in the night. Li Xuan felt the dragon's power coursing through his body, empowering him to fight with a ferocity that he had never known before.

But Mei Hua was no ordinary opponent. As they fought, she summoned dark energies from the earth, unleashing them at Li Xuan with deadly precision.

Li Xuan dodged and weaved, his senses sharpened by the dragon's power. He could see every movement that Mei Hua made, and he countered them with a precision that he had never thought possible.

As Mei Hua launched another barrage of dark energy at him, Li Xuan saw an opening. With a swift movement, he spun around and brought his sword down in a powerful strike, cleaving through Mei Hua's defenses and sending her crashing to the ground.

As the dark energy dissipated, Mei Ling stepped forward, her eyes still glowing with a brilliant light. "Well done, Li Xuan," she said. "You have defeated the darkness that threatened to consume Mei Hua."

Li Xuan felt a sense of relief wash over him. He had been afraid that he would lose Mei Hua to the darkness forever.

But then, something unexpected happened. Mei Hua began to stir, and as she rose to her feet, she seemed different somehow. Her eyes were no longer glowing, and she looked at Li Xuan with a new sense of clarity.

"Li Xuan, thank you for saving me," she said, her voice soft and gentle. "I was lost in the darkness, but your bravery has brought me back to the light.

Li Xuan felt a surge of emotion wash over him. He had never seen Mei Hua like this before. She was no longer the fierce warrior that he had fought against but a vulnerable woman who needed his protection.

He took her hand and looked into her eyes. "Mei Hua, I will always be here for you," he said. "No matter what happens, I will protect you with all of my strength."

Mei Hua smiled at him, and Li Xuan felt his heart skip a beat. He had never felt this way about anyone before.
